Research On The Supply Of Community Home-based Elderly Care Services In Zhenjiang City

With the rapid development of China’s economy,the life expectancy of the population is increasing and the demographic structure is changing dramatically.The resultant demographic development trend and aging status has gradually become a realistic issue and an important research topic of concern for all sectors of society.At present,China’s basic old-age security and service system is still under continuous construction and gradual improvement,due to the declining of family old-age care and the rising cost of institutional old-age care,the traditional old-age service model will not be able to adapt to the pace of development of the times.It will become an elderly care model that most of the elderly families in China can accept and adapt to.On the one hand,it will allow the elderly to enjoy quality services in a familiar environment and satisfy their desire to "age in place",and on the other hand,it will bring into play social forces,improve the efficiency of resource supply and ease the pressure of population aging.In addition,senior care service is a public service,the government should be the main supplier,but not the only supplier,but also include the community,market,social organizations,families,etc.Each supply body should assume its own responsibility,coordinate a variety of relationships and play a corresponding function,so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of community home care service and improve quality and efficiency.This thesis takes the current situation of population aging in Zhenjiang City as the entry point,and takes welfare pluralism as the theoretical basis to understand the current situation of community home care service supply in Zhenjiang City through field visits and questionnaires,and finds the following problems through analysis and comparison: the supply body is relatively single,the service team is low in professionalism,the supply and demand are not fully matched,and the service lacks scientific supervision and evaluation The problems were identified by analyzing and comparing the following problems: a single supply body,a low level of professionalism of the service team,a complete match between supply and demand,and a lack of scientific supervision and evaluation of services.By backtracking the problems to find out the causes and getting inspiration from studying the experience of domestic and foreign excellent regions in elderly care services,we propose suggestions to improve the community home-based elderly care service supply in Zhenjiang,including establishing the participation mechanism of multiple subjects,increasing the construction of elderly care service team talents,realizing accurate service supply,and strengthening the dynamic supervision of services,so as to help build a higher quality,more efficient,and more sustainable This will help to build a higher quality,more efficient and sustainable supply system for home care services with the available resources,and promote the improvement ofthe supply level of community home care services in Zhenjiang.
