| As the top talents in China’s higher education,Doctoral students are human capital with rich knowledge resources.Their flow not only affects the accumulation of human capital in a region,but also reflects the balanced allocation of human resources in China and the harmonious and stable development of society.With the rapid progress of China’s society and the rapid development of economy,the demand for innovative talents in various regions and industries is also increasing.In addition,with the expansion of Doctoral enrollment in recent years,the academic market tends to be saturated with talents,and more and more Doctoral graduates choose non academic careers.Under the stimulation of external policies and systems and driven by internal interest and will,the employment of Doctoral graduates shows a diversified trend,and its regional flow types are more complex and changeable.In view of this,based on human capital theory,labor market segmentation theory and population "push-pull" theory,this study makes descriptive statistical analysis,interactive analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis on the types of employment flow of Doctoral graduates from Beijing X university from 2011 to 2015,from two aspects: the types of employment flow of Doctoral graduates and the characteristics of Doctoral graduates with different individual characteristics,combining the two perspectives of static analysis and dynamic analysis,this paper deeply discusses the employment flow of Doctoral graduates,and draws the following conclusions:Conclusion 1: through education and training and labor mobility,Doctoral students’ human capital can be improved and promoted to flow upward.Conclusion 2: the phenomenon of labor market segmentation between different student sources,different genders,different disciplines and different occupational markets is prominent.Conclusion 3: the level of regional economic development has a significant "push-pull" effect on Doctoral graduates.Conclusion 4: in addition to economic factors,Doctoral graduates will also consider more academic factors in employment.The academic market in the western region is gradually "rising".Conclusion 5: the employment region selection of Doctoral graduates shows a strong characteristic of "territorial employment".From the diachronic change trend,the employment region and career market selection show a diversified change trend.In view of the problems found in the research,the following suggestions are put forward: First,give full play to the role of the market,formulate differentiation policies,and promote the rational flow of human resources.Second,reform the training mechanism,improve the development model,and cultivate high-quality talents to adapt to the development of the new era.Third,establish a correct outlook on job selection,focus on the diversified needs of the new era,and broaden the direction of employment.Fourth,establish a diversified system to jointly promote college graduates to achieve high-quality employment. |
