The Research On "Socialism In The 21st Century" By The Communist Party Of The Russian Federation

"Socialism in the 21 st century" was put forward in the Party’s program adopted by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation(hereinafter referred to as "the Party")at the 13 th Party Congress held in November 2008.In the new version of the Party’s platform,the Party clearly pointed out that the Party’s strategic goal is to build a renewed socialism in Russia—— "21st century socialism".The "21st century socialism" that the Russian Communist Party wants to build is a newly developed socialism.It has experienced an evolution from "The best socialism" to "Russian socialism" and finally to "21st century socialism" in the past.It is not a simple copy of socialism of Soviet,but to inject new elements into traditional socialism and re-establish the image of socialism in front of the masses.It advocates a profound reflection and criticism of socialism of Soviet and Russian capitalism on the basis of inheriting the basic ideology of Marxism-Leninism,and strives to achieve social realization by peaceful struggle but not excluding violent revolution through three phased goals.It also stressed the need to continuously strengthen the Party building and improve the Party’s combat effectiveness in the new historical period.The "21st Century Socialism",on the whole,presents basic characteristics such as diversification of ideological sources,expansion of class base,diversification of economic forms,and moderation of realization methods.Since the proposal of "21st Century Socialism",the Party has never forgotten to try in practice,trying to further strengthen and enhance its own strength and influence by actively participating in the elections of power organs at all levels and carrying out work inside and outside the parliament."21st Century Socialism" is the latest understanding of socialism by the Party and the latest expression of the Party in the process of seeking a scientific socialist model,and a concentrated expression of the Russian Communist Party’s summary of historical experience,based on the current national conditions,and looking forward to future development.It has important theoretical significance and practical value to promote the development of the Party and socialism in the world.However,any theory is not perfect in its development process,and it needs to be perfected by constantly overcoming its own incompatibility with the development of the times.The "21st Century Socialism" of the Russian Communist Party still has limitations that incomplete critique of capitalism,serious nationalism tendency,unsystematized theory and low feasibility etc.
