Study On Marx’s Theory Of Proletarian Class Consciousness

In Marx’s view,the class consciousness of the proletariat is not just a simple definition,its construction process is an important process for Marx to analyze the transformation of the proletariat from an objective class identity to a class subject with a clear historical task.Deepening the study of Marx’s proletarian class consciousness theory can not only help us understand the development trend and change trajectory of proletarian class consciousness,but also promote us to further understand the shaping process of capitalist operating mechanism for the proletariat,so as to accurately grasp the potential of the proletariat to liberate all mankind and establish a new society.Specifically,the author mainly analyzes Marx’s theory of proletarian class consciousness from three aspects: criticism and construction foundation,main content and development of The Times.From the critical perspective and the foundation of construction,Marx mainly criticized Hegel and the young Hegelians for taking absolute spirit and self-consciousness as the cause of historical development and the illusory ideology presented by the ruling class to defend the illusory community.On the basis of criticism,Marx opened up a road to reality,which not only laid a historical materialist perspective from the world of reality and the interests of the real subject,but also opened the exploration of how the proletariat constructs its class consciousness and the presentation of its subjectivity.The main content of the overall view is mainly embodied in the four dimensions of the historical premise,the internal rational path,the connotation determination and the value orientation of the proletariat’s construction of class consciousness.On the historical premise,this paper examines the impact of the Industrial Revolution on the living state of the proletariat,and expounds the historical necessity of the proletariat’s construction of class consciousness by analyzing the loss of the proletariat’s subjectivity.Based on the investigation of the proletarian revolutionary movement,it reveals the transformation of the proletariat from the initiation of individual consciousness to the development of group consciousness to the construction of a mature ideology.On the basis of the construction of proletarian class consciousness,this paper makes a clear definition of the connotation of proletarian class consciousness from the economic,political and cultural aspects,and summarizes it into three aspects of proletarian survival consciousness,party consciousness and communist consciousness.Focusing on the value orientation,through the discussion of the establishment of political rule by the proletariat and its radical break with the traditional concept,the author expounds the value tendency of the proletariat to liberate all mankind and itself.With the transfer of historical coordinates,in the context of The Times,Marx’s theory of proletarian class consciousness has been updated and developed in different degrees.To a certain extent,the researchers represented by Lenin inherited the revolutionary essence contained in Marx’s proletarian class consciousness theory,and the theory of proletarian class consciousness decline constitutes the central argument of Western Marxists represented by Marcuse and others.This series of application and development has effectively demonstrated that Marx’s theory of proletarian class consciousness has not only not become obsolete due to the changes of The Times,but has shown more vigorous theoretical vitality.
