Ideological issues are old and often new.As an important place for the country to train talents,colleges and universities have become the main battleground of ideological struggle under the impact of various social trends of thought.In this regard,it is a strategic project to strengthen the construction of ideological management power in colleges and universities and build a solid position of mainstream ideology.At present,the ideological issues at home and abroad are complex,especially the rapid development of new media technology,which has a profound impact on the ideological prediction and prevention management of college students,weakening the effectiveness of college ideological management power,reducing the influence of mainstream ideology and even being questioned.In this severe situation,how to deepen the internalization of the ideological management right of college teachers and students and consolidate the ideological leadership of colleges and universities has become an important topic in the current ideological research field of colleges and universities.On the basis of the existing research,combined with my own thinking and summary,this paper conducts a systematic study on the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era.First of all,it analyzes the concept of the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era,clarifies the connotation and characteristics of new media,the role of new media in the ideological power of colleges and universities,the definition of the relevant concepts of ideological management power,and the connotation,characteristics and elements of the ideological management power of colleges and universities.Secondly,it makes a theoretical analysis of the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era.Third,the new media has brought a rare opportunity to the ideological management power of colleges and universities,but it has also made the ideological management power of colleges and universities fall into a dilemma,which is mainly manifested in the absence of management subjects,lagging management mechanisms,backward management methods and complex management environment.In the process of research,the author systematically combed and deeply analyzed the causes of the dilemma of the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era: the deviation of management concepts weakens the ideological management power of colleges and universities,the vague sense of responsibility weakens the ideological management power of colleges and universities,the network media dissemination eliminates the ideological management power of colleges and universities,and various unhealthy ideological trends squeeze the ideological management power of colleges and universities.Finally,in view of the realistic predicament of the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era,the paper proposes a breakthrough path for the construction of the ideological management power of colleges and universities in the new media era to effectively improve the effectiveness of the ideological management power of colleges and universities.From the perspective of specific path,we should update the management concept and tighten the new line of defense;Implement system and mechanism,and plan new guarantee for work;Improve management methods and seek new breakthroughs in work;Strengthen position management and optimize the new working environment.
