A Study On The Pro-people Image Of The Communist Party Of China During The Central Soviet Period

"The image of the Party is related to the fate of the country,and is an important vehicle for enhancing its soft power and a very important resource for strengthening and improving the leadership of the Communist Party of China.The report of the 20 th Party Congress points out that "we must always maintain the sobriety and determination to solve the unique problems of a big party" and that "our Party,as the largest political party in the world,must be big in appearance." The appearance of a big party is,to a certain extent,an expression of the party’s image.A pro-people image is a governing resource of the party and is unique in that a good image is essential if the party wants to enhance its internal and external cohesion,influence and combativeness.The shaping of the party’s pro-people image is of great practical significance to the consolidation of its long-term ruling position.Strengthening the party’s pro-people image is not only about the party itself,but is also closely related to the state,the nation and the people.The CPC during the Central Soviet period was still in its infancy and immature in its development.Whether or not it could establish a pro-people image at this time would have a direct impact on whether or not the CPC could be embraced and supported by the masses,and whether or not it could lead the Chinese revolution all the way.Therefore,a study of the Party’s pro-people image shaping during this period can,on the one hand,enrich and deepen the understanding of the history of the Central Soviet Union and has certain academic value for the study of the history of the Central Soviet Union and,on the other hand,has certain reference significance for the study of the Communist Party of China’s own construction in the new era.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction,which mainly elaborates on the causes and values of the study of the Party’s pro-people image shaping during the Central Soviet period,the current state of research at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,and points of innovation and difficulties.In the second part,the pro-people image of the Communist Party of China is defined and its theoretical sources are elaborated.The Marxist view of the masses and the traditional Chinese concept of "people-based" thinking are important theoretical bases for shaping the Party’s pro-people image.The third part is a study of the Party’s image during the Central Soviet period,focusing on the social environment in the Soviet area,the relationship between the various parties in China,and the CPC itself.The fourth part focuses on the ways and means by which the CPC went about creating a pro-people image during this period,focusing on three levels: the Party’s policy programme,the propaganda discourse system and the building of Party style.The final section discusses the effectiveness of the Party’s pro-people image during this period.Through a series of practices,the CPC not only won the support of the Soviet people and strengthened the Party’s appeal,but also exposed the designs of the Kuomintang at the time,preserved the Party’s image during this period,and consolidated the Soviet regime.By analysing the results achieved in building a pro-people image during this period,some insights can be drawn from it for the building of a pro-people image for the CPC in the new era.
