Research On The Ideological And Political Education Function Of University History And Culture In Higher Education And Its Realization

The university history culture is the sum of cultural traditions,values and spiritual outlook formed in the process of establishment,construction and development of universities,which contains very rich ideological and political education values and is of outstanding significance for optimizing the moral education work of universities and cultivating new talents of the times to take up the responsibility of national rejuvenation.Through systematically sorting out the basic concepts and theoretical basis of university history culture,analyzing the correlation between university history culture and ideological and political education,the four functional forms and values of ideological and political education that university history culture has are summarized.Specifically,it includes the function of spiritual inspiration,the function of inspiring by example,the function of cultural reflection and the function of moral cultivation.At the same time,the four functional values of ideological and political education contained in university history culture are discussed in four aspects: "promoting the main theme and enhancing value identity;learning the true example and strengthening ideal belief;building the Chinese dream and enhancing cultural self-confidence;building strong skills and practising moral consciousness".However,at present,there are many practical problems in the function of ideological and political education of university history culture,such as the university history and culture construction work is not effective,the university history and culture communication innovation is not enough,the university history and culture education is not deep enough,and the university history and culture guarantee is not strong enough.Therefore,it is necessary to innovate the methods and paths for the realization of the ideological and political education function of university history culture,that is,to make overall promotion at the logical levels of educational concept,physical presentation,spatial construction and institutional mechanism.Specifically,in terms of educational concept,we should adhere to the principles of unifying scientific development and people-oriented,unifying cultural inheritance and cultural innovation,and unifying explicit education and implicit education;in terms of physical presentation,we should strengthen the textual research of university history culture and excavate the red genes of university history culture,while improving the display level of university history culture;in terms of spatial construction,we should make joint efforts to build the space for the ideological and political courses of university history culture,the space for ideological and political practice and the space for ideological and political network,In terms of space construction,we should make joint efforts to build the space for courses,practice and network space of university history culture;in terms of institutional mechanism,we should strengthen the institutionalization of ideological and political education of university history culture,improve the political standing and upgrade the talent team.
