Research On The Function And Promotion Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Students In The History Of The Communist Party Of China

At the important moment of celebrating the Centennial birthday of our party and at the critical juncture of the historical convergence of the "two Centennial" goals,it is necessary to strengthen the study and education of the party history of college students and give full play to the ideological and political education function of the party history.To give full play to its function of Ideological and political education is to let college students understand where we come from and where we are going.The main functions of Ideological and political education of college students in the history of the party are:the function of understanding reason,the function of increasing credit,the function of advocating morality and the function of practicing.The rational function of the party history is the process that college students put Marxist theory and the party’s ideological theory into their minds through the study of the party history.So that college students can deeply understand and master the party’s ideological theory,and consciously use the party’s ideological theory in the process of consciously resisting historical nihilism and other wrong ideas.The credibility function of the party history is the process of Marxism into the heart,establishing and strengthening the belief in Marxism,the belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the confidence in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,so as to generate a high degree of political identity.The function of advocating morality in the history of the party is to understand great morality and absorb the spirit of striving;We should abide by public morality and the feelings of serving the people;We should be strict with personal morality and self-discipline.The function of the party’s history is to carry forward the Marxist style of study,establish a correct concept of career choice,and continue the spiritual blood of the Communists.The party history education of college students has achieved certain results,but the effect is not obvious,and the ideological and political function is not fully played.There are three reasons:first,the party history education environment is complex.In recent years,the social trend of thought is complex and diverse,the rapid development of the network has exacerbated the adverse impact of social trend of thought,and the family education ignores the ideological and political education,which poses a serious challenge to the leading role of Ideological and political education.Second,the education of party history in some universities is not targeted.The timeliness of party history education is weak,the subjectivity of college students is not fully valued,and the practical activities are not fully carried out.Third,there is still room for some educators to play their subjective initiative.The party history education of college students has achieved certain results,but the effect is not obvious,and the ideological and political function is not fully played.There are three reasons:first,the party history education environment is complex.In recent years,the social trend of thought is complex and diverse,the rapid development of the network has exacerbated the adverse impact of social trend of thought,and the family education ignores the ideological and political education,which poses a serious challenge to the leading role of Ideological and political education.Second,the party history education in some colleges and universities is not adaptable to the times.In some colleges and universities,the timeliness of party history education is not strong,and the practical activities are not fully carried out,so the way of party history education needs to be innovated.Third,there is still room for some educators to play their subjective initiative.To give full play to the function of Ideological and political education of college students in the history of the party,we need to form a multi-party joint force.First of all,we should optimize the educational environment and establish a united front of propaganda.Secondly,we should give full play to the main role of the school and innovate the way of education.Finally,strengthen the main channel construction of Ideological and political course,stimulate teachers’subjective initiative.
