Research On The Strategies For Guiding Police-related Online Public Opinion In The Public Security Organs Of City

With the widespread popularity of the Internet and the rapid development of information technology,various social thoughts,ideologies,and values are also intertwined and collided on the network,and the "network discourse" formed gradually forms an important force of public opinion,which promotes significant and profound changes in the current social public opinion environment.Because of its special role orientation and responsibility mission,the public security organ is very easy to become the focus of news,the focus of attention,the focus of speculation and the focus of supervision in cyberspace.A little carelessness will be in the forefront of public opinion.Therefore,it is necessary for the situation,work and mission for the public security organs to improve their ability to respond to police related network public opinion and improve relevant working mechanisms.Using the data of police-related online public opinion in G city.This study firstly analyzes the current situation of police-related online public opinion guidance of public security organs in G city in terms of the overall situation,development trend,source platforms,main departments involved and characteristics,and analyzes the deep-seated reasons.Secondly,based on the actual situation of public security work,the study uses textual research method,survey research method and case study method to analyze the current situation,problems and causes in terms of case background,dissemination,media participation and tendency of two police-related online public opinion cases in G city.And proposes optimization strategies for guiding police-related online public opinion in G city through data analysis and systematic analysis of cases.Research has found that there are problems in the guidance of police related online public opinion in G city,such as awareness of prevention,early warning and prediction,response and disposal,and summary of aftermath.Life cycle theory,agenda setting theory,and silent spiral theory should be fully utilized to guide practical work,and efforts should be made to enhance the ability of G city’s public security organs to guide police related online public opinion,so that public security organs can fully enjoy the convenience brought by internet information technology and actively enhance the image of public security organs,Establish law enforcement authority,create favorable prerequisites for the effective implementation of various public security work,better serve economic and social development,and better meet the people’s pursuit of fairness,justice,and equality.Finally,research conclusions are formed based on the above research and future research prospects are proposed.
