A Study On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The High-quality Development Of Undertakings For The Aged

During the 14th Five Year Plan period,China has entered a new stage of rapid development of population aging and a more typical aging society,and promoting the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged has become an important part of China’s strategy to cope with population aging.Meanwhile,data as a new factor of production,the digital economy is leading the quality change,power change and efficiency change in China,providing new momentum for the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged.To this end,measuring the digital economy and the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged and studying the influence relationship between them are of great significance to the realization and change of the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged in China.Based on combing the literature related to the digital economy and the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged,firstly,we start by elaborating on the connotation of the digital economy and the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged,in which the development of the digital economy includes four dimensions of traditional production factors,digital production factors,digital industrialization and industrial digitization,and the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged includes four dimensions: economic security,elderly care services,health care services and elderly social participation.Secondly,the evaluation index systems of the digital economy and high-quality development of the cause of the elderly are constructed respectively,and the entropy method TOPSIS method is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the digital economy and the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged in 31 provinces,cities and autonomous regions of China from 2013 to 2019,to explore the spatial and temporal evolution trends and regional difference characteristics;finally,considering the spatial effect,the spatial panel model is used to analyze the impact of the digital economy on the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged from the overall and regional perspectives,and further explore the spillover effect of the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged.The results show that:(1)from 2013 to 2019,the high-quality development of undertakings for the aged is fluctuating,but the overall level is not high,there is a spatial imbalance,the eastern region performs well,the western region is second,the central region is collapsing,and the spatial pattern from east to west is "high-low-high".(2)From 2013 to 2019,there was obvious regional heterogeneity in the development level of China’s digital economy,and the overall development has increased significantly,among which,the eastern region is the highest,followed by the central and western regions respectively,and the development level of the digital economy shows a ladder development pattern of "low-middle-high" from west to east.(3)In terms of spatial correlation characteristics,there is a positive spatial correlation between the level of high-quality development of the aging business in China,and there are small fluctuations in the spatial clustering characteristics;(4)The digital economy has a significant promotion effect on the high-quality development of the aging business,and the high-quality development of the aging business has a significant spatial spillover effect.Based on the above findings,we also put forward relevant policy suggestions in light of China’s national conditions.
