Research On The Influence And Mechanism Of Digital Economy Enabling Rural Industry Revitalization

The rural revitalization proposed by the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)is the key to promote the process of agricultural and rural modernization in the future,and the revitalization of rural industry is the key.However,the revitalization of rural industries faces many problems,such as the mismatch between industrial development and benefits,the lack of vitality of industrial elements,the weak infrastructure required by the industry and the weak anti-risk ability of the industry.The digital economy is an important driving force for economic development.How to effectively release its boosting role in the revitalization of rural industries has become an important issue widely discussed by all walks of life in China.Although domestic and foreign scholars have explored the path mechanism of digital economy promoting rural industry revitalization from various aspects,and have made certain achievements in the research of digital economy and rural industry revitalization,most of them are qualitative research,and quantitative research is less.This paper quantitatively discusses the mechanism and impact of digital economy enabling rural industrial revitalization.This paper uses the data of 31 provinces from 2011 to 2020,and the linear estimation results show that the digital economy can enable the revitalization of rural industries;The analysis of intermediary effect shows that entrepreneurial activity can be used as the path mechanism of digital economy enabling rural industry revitalization;The nonlinear effect analysis shows that both the digital economy index and the entrepreneurial activity index have significantly passed the single threshold,and have not passed the double threshold and three threshold tests.It shows that the non-linear marginal increasing feature of digital economy enabling rural industry revitalization is established,and this effect is also affected by entrepreneurial activity,reflecting the positive interaction between digital economy and entrepreneurial activity,and jointly promoting rural industry revitalization;In the analysis of spatial spillover effect,the spatial autocorrelation test is carried out first.The results show that the digital economy has a significant relationship with the Moran index of rural industry revitalization under the weight of geographical distance,and there is a significant clustering phenomenon between the two in space.After that,the spatial spillover effect test results show that there are not only endogenous effects but also exogenous effects with digital economy as the interaction.The spatial spillover effect of digital economy enabling rural industry revitalization is established;The results of heterogeneity analysis show that the heterogeneity between regions is significant.The digital economy in the eastern and central regions has a significant role in empowering rural industries,but the role is not significant in the western region.Finally,the robustness test shows that the role of digital economy in empowering rural industry revitalization is still valid.Finally,this paper puts forward policy recommendations from four aspects,namely: promote the construction and improvement of rural infrastructure,and promote the combination of digital technology and rural industry revitalization;Implement differentiated policies and promote the development of rural industries in different regions according to local conditions;Encourage entrepreneurial activities and optimize the entrepreneurial environment;We will improve the digital governance system and create a good environment for the revitalization of rural industries.
