A Study On Li Ji Shen’s Patriotic Thought

Mr.Li Jishen is a famous soldier of the democratic revolution,a loyal and patriotic general,and he has been striving for the liberation of the country and the democracy of the nation all his life.As one of the important representatives of the democratic faction of the Kuomintang,he established deep revolutionary feelings and patriotic identity with the Communist Party of China under the impetus of the strong national crisis and strong patriotic thought.Even in order to realize the common expectation of all the people for democracy and peace,resolutely formed the Chinese Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee,the Kuomintang democratic and reactionary division at the same time began to actively cooperate with the Communist Party to fight for democracy to the end.As an outstanding representative of patriotic and democratic personages,Li Jishen’s actions are inseparable from his own strong patriotic thoughts.Meanwhile,patriotic thoughts have always been a spiritual weapon for the Chinese nation to unite and forge ahead and overcome difficulties since ancient times.Therefore,studying Li Jishen’s patriotic thoughts plays a very good role in promoting and developing patriotic thoughts in the new era.It also provides reference for patriotic education in the new era.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the process of the formation of Li Jishen’s patriotic thought.From the perspective of Li Jishen,it focuses on the process of his patriotic thought evolving from germination to maturity under the influence of social and historical background,family education,traditional culture and Sun Yat-sen’s patriotic thought.The second part,through the analysis of Li Jishen’s historical activities,combines his patriotic thought with the concrete expression,and then brings it into the perspective of the nation and the state to further analyze,and obtains the specific content of Li Jishen’s patriotic thought advocating national independence,the establishment of the nation state and the establishment of the socialist patriotic Democratic Front.The third part analyzes Li Jishen’s opinions and performances in different periods from the perspective of historical development and sums up the distinct characteristics of Li Jishen’s patriotic thought,namely the supremacy of national interests,democracy and times.The fourth part analyzes the significance of Li Jishen’s patriotic thought to the patriotic thought in the new era by combining the actual situation of today’s society.
