Research On The International Image Building Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Era

Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Enters a New Era,The Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation has interacted with Profound Changes Unseen in a Century.As a result,the Communist Party of China is increasingly intertwined with the rest of the world.Rare global issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict have suddenly accelerated the evolution of the world,exerting a strong impact on the international community,especially developing countries.China’s wisdom and solutions represented by the Communist Party of China are widely followed and even expected by the world.As the ruling party of China,the international image strategy of the Communist Party of China always takes the national development interests as the final appeal.In the new era,the international community pays more attention to the CPC than ever before.If we can establish a high-quality international image of the CPC in the international field,we can create a favorable external environment for China’s development.If the existing image stigmatization problem is left unchecked,it may add resistance to China’s development.In short,the international image building of the Communist Party of China has become a proposition of The Times that cannot be ignored.How to build a high quality international image of the CPC in the new era needs to be investigated from three dimensions: theory,history and reality.From the perspective of theory,the Marxist party building theory and the international image theory of the Communist Party of China’s leaders have constructed the basic theoretical framework for the international image building of the Communist Party of China in the new era.Among them,Xi Jinping’s international image theory of the Communist Party of China provides scientific guidance for the international image building of the Party in the new era from four aspects: strength construction,attribute construction,value construction and efficiency construction.From the perspective of history,in the view of international public opinion,the CPC has undergone the evolution of its international image from "red threat" to "an open and enterprising pluralistic party".This evolution process has been influenced by five major factors,including international,domestic,intra-party and leaders.As far as the current situation is concerned,in the view of the international public opinion in the new era,the CPC has the high-quality international image of the people’s party,the scientific party,the advanced party,the practical party and the open party.The overall international image of the CPC has been significantly optimized,but the problem of image stigmatization still exists.These public opinions show the cognitive characteristics of the change of public opinion structure,the diversity of evaluation perspectives,the differentiation of subject cognition,the contradiction of collective mentality and the polarization of negative views.They are the environmental factors that the Party’s international image building in the new era needs to face.Facing the future,to build a high-quality international image of the Party,we need to grasp the theoretical basis,learn from historical experience,study and judge the current situation,understand the opportunities and challenges,and find a way to build the international image of the party with Chinese characteristics,which mainly includes the connotation system,the communication system and the discourse system.
