| To understand today’s China,we must read the Communist Party of China.Since the new era,the CPC has received increasingly widespread attention from the international community,and the shaping of the international image of the CPC has gradually become an important category for deepening the study of the Party’s governing laws,as well as an important way to strengthen the international identity of the CPC.A community with a shared future of mankind,as the central task and important link of China’s foreign work,is not only the responsibility and mission of the CPC in this era,but also a concrete demonstration of the CPC’s global vision in contemporary era.At present,the international image of the CPC is at an important window period,and it is necessary to further strengthen the research on the international image of the CPC in the context of a community with a shared future of mankind,which will not only help establish the positive role of the CPC in line with the expectations of the international community,but also help promote a community with a shared future of mankind along the right direction of win-win cooperation.This paper consists of an introduction and five chapters.The introductory part elaborates the background and significance of the topic of this paper,and composes the current status of domestic and international research on a community with a shared future of mankind and the international image of the CPC.The first chapter defines the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and the international image of the CPC,and expounds the theoretical characteristics of a community with a shared future for mankind and the profound implication of the international image of the CPC.On this basis,the paper discusses the internal relationship between the CPC’s international image-building and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.The second chapter makes a systematic and careful analysis on the international image-building of the CPC by Marxist classic writers and the main leaders of the CPC,which provide theoretical guidance for the next research of this paper.The third chapter analyzes the opportunities and challenges of shaping the international image of the CPC in the context of a community with a shared future for mankind.In the new era,based on the development trend of "two major situations","China’s plan" are driving the world development,which requires telling "the story of the CPC" well to the outside world.The "West is strong and the East is weak",the "China threat theory" throws mud at the image of the CPC and the "cultural discount" affects the generation of Chinese and Western values are real challenges.The fourth chapter analyzes the self-shaping of the main body of the CPC’s international image since the new era:the beneficial practice of a community with a shared future for mankind builds the foundation;the main field of diplomacy in the new era provides a platform for practice;the mainstream media actively respond to international concerns to shape the real international image of the CPC.The main body of the CPC’s international image is shaped by the Chinese Communist Party,and the other body is shaped by overseas research on the CPC,the overseas people who know and love China,and the overseas media in the new era.On this basis,the international image building of the CPC should aim at being a provider of public goods,a defender of international order,a builder of world peace and a contributor to global development.The fifth chapter explores the feasible path for shaping the international image of the CPC in the context of a community with a shared future for mankind,proposing to strengthen self-improvement and lay a solid foundation for building the CPC’s international image;deepen inter-party communication and improve the influence of the CPC’s international image;strengthen the leadership of public opinion and dominate the discourse of the CPC’s international image;and broaden the way of thinking to enhance the communication power of the CPC’s international image shaping. |
