Study On Human Settlement Satisfaction And Influencing Factors In Xikou Rural Future Community

With the full implementation of China’s urbanization and industrialization policies,China’s rural communities are no longer closed rural living communities in the traditional sense.In 2019,the government of Quzhou City,Zhejiang Province began to implement a series of policies of "rural future community",seeking a way of traditional rural transformation in the form of developing "rural future community".The construction of future rural communities takes serving the people as the starting point and eventually returns to the people.However,it is easy to ignore the satisfaction of residents in the process of the construction of future rural communities,which makes the future rural communities unable to grasp the right direction of development.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the main aspects of residents’ dissatisfaction with the construction of future rural communities and analyze the key factors affecting the satisfaction of residents.The study contents included: Firstly,taking Xikou Rural Future Community in Quzhou City,Zhejiang Province as the research area,this paper conducted a questionnaire survey among 350 residents in the community from July to October 2022.Combined with the satisfaction theory,scientific theory of human settlement environment and sustainable development theory,the paper made a descriptive statistical analysis of the residents’ human settlement satisfaction,and illustrated the current situation of the future community human settlement satisfaction in Xikou rural area.Secondly,by constructing a multiple logistic model,we analyzed the basic characteristics of rural residents,rural infrastructure,rural population employment,rural culture and education,rural medical and old-age care,rural housing conditions,and rural environmental governance in seven aspects,and uses OLS regression model to test the robustness of the data.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to promote the high quality development level of rural communities in the future.According to the research results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The overall satisfaction evaluation of rural residents on the future community construction in Xikou village is average,and tends to be more satisfied.(2)Residents mainly have low satisfaction evaluation on road construction quality,teaching facilities,teaching funds and house purchase cost,but have good satisfaction with medical and health care and environmental governance.(3)Empirical analysis shows that 10 factors,such as per capital disposable income of households,living standards of families in the local area,quality of road construction,number of shared facilities,overall rural literacy level,quality of rural culture and education,whether the house has been unified planning and design,living conditions and garbage sorting and disposal,have a significant impact on the satisfaction of human settlements in future rural community construction,in addition,five factors including the quality of culture and education,garbage sorting and disposal,the number of shared facilities,neighborhood relationship of rural residents and local living standard passed the 1% statistical significance test with high significance.Based on the above conclusions,propose the following policy suggestions: the community should transform or upgrade the weak factors of satisfaction,including strengthening the quality construction of road construction,increase investment in teaching facilities,reasonable income and expenditure of teaching funds,indirectly regulating the cost of housing;make full use of significant factors affecting satisfaction to promote sustainable community development,including strengthening the quality of culture and education,deepening garbage sorting and treatment,and enriching the type and quantity of shared facilities,carry out neighborhood mutual assistance activities.
