A Practical Study Of Group Work To Improve The Self-confidence Of Drug Addicts In Compulsory Isolation

Drugs are a common problem facing the whole world.With the dramatic increases of the number of drug users in our country,the drug abuse of stars and celebrities is exposed,and the drug problem has become a hot topic in society and into the minds of the masses.The state has formulated and introduced a number of anti-drug laws and regulations to combat drug crimes,and scholars in various fields have also brought their research into the field of anti-drug.In the field of social work,researchers have conducted in-depth exploration on the causes of drug abuse,social regression,community drug rehabilitation,social support and other issues,but there are few studies on the self-confidence of drug users.Therefore,this paper uses the group work method to enter the compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation center to carry out targeted work,takes the compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation personnel as the research object,provides targeted group work services according to their problems and needs,and carries out the group work of exploring advantages,facing themselves squarely,recognizing their support network,reviewing life and planning for the future.The overall goal is to improve the self-confidence of drug addicts,and the intervention process is evaluated and discussed in detail.In this study,eight drug addicts were recruited as the service objects.Under the guidance of the advantageous perspective and social support theory,group work was carried out based on the problems and needs of drug addicts and focused on improving their self-confidence.In the actual group work,sub-goals were achieved through the activity content,and the achievement of sub-goals could promote the achievement of the overall goal.In the group,members fully understand and explore themselves,accept themselves,discover their own advantages and resources,and make plans for future life,thus enhancing their self-confidence.In the process of work,social work integrates resources and contacts social forces to provide support for drug addicts.At last,this paper reflects and summarizes the problems existing in social work to improve the confidence of drug addicts through group discussion,and explores the ways and methods of social work to improve the confidence of drug addicts.
