Research On Social Security Of Urban Residents And Its Influencing Factors

To safeguard national security,we must do a good job in maintaining social harmony and stability.Social security is closely related to multiple security fields in the holistic approach to national security.The occurrence of major security incidents in any security field may affect social security.Social security is one of the important indicators to measure the social operation mechanism and social stability.It is a ’barometer ’ of social security governance and an important perspective and entry point for the study of social security status.In many current studies,social security research has different research conclusions due to different research purposes,different understanding of the concept of social security and its influencing factors,and different indicator settings.There is a lack of research on the impact of various social factors on it.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to clarify the conceptual connotation of social security and its influencing factors.However,the current academic research on the sense of social security of urban residents mainly focuses on social security and social order.There are relatively few studies on the sense of social security that cover a wider range and reflect the needs of the new era.The theoretical characteristics of social security and the sense of social security have not yet reached a consensus,and the expression at the policy level is also vague.In view of this,based on the holistic approach to national security,risk society and risk perception theory,this study uses questionnaires,in-depth interviews and other methods to analyze the relationship between influencing factors and urban residents ’ social security.First of all,the study believes that the social security of residents is affected by seven demographic variables such as gender,age,income,and education level,and four factors such as social justice,social support,government trust,and livelihood security.Secondly,the influence of social justice,social support,government trust and people ’s livelihood security on social security is verified by hierarchical multiple stepwise regression.As the independent variables are added to the regression equation in turn,the explanatory degree of the regression equation is gradually increased,which proves that social justice,social support,government trust and people ’s livelihood security have a significant impact on the social security of urban residents,and there is a positive impact relationship.Among the demographic variables,gender and income have a significant impact on the social security of residents.Age,education level,occupation,marital status and household type have no significant impact.Finally,we should carry out corresponding measures for the above points,establish a fair and reasonable benefit distribution mechanism to maintain social justice,give full play to the role of various social fields to improve the degree of social support,adhere to the all-round improvement of government trust in all fields,improve the integrity and accuracy of people ’s livelihood security,and strive to improve the social security of urban residents.
