| Labour is the essential difference between human beings and animals,and is the fundamental driving force behind human social progress.Labour education is an important part of the education system,and is both one of the contents of education and has an important function of educating people.Therefore,it is of great significance to review the development of labour education for college students since the founding of New China,summarize the characteristics and motives of its development,reveal the successful experiences and shortcomings in the process of evolution,and then put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,in order to enrich the theoretical system of labour education for college students,enhance the effectiveness of labour education for college students,and promote the improvement of labour literacy of college students.According to the stage characteristics of the development of labour education for college students and the changes of relevant policy texts,it is divided into three stages:tortuous exploration(1949-1978),adjustment and development(1978-2012),and gradual maturity(2012-present).The basic overview of the development of labour education for university students is traced according to the changes in the historical background,objectives,methods and characteristics of labour education for university students in different periods.Through combing,we found that labour education for college students in general showed the following four characteristics in its development:the change of educational objectives from instrumental rationality to value rationality;the change of educational status from the first light to a key link;the change of educational practices from singularity to diversity;and the change of educational assessment standards from one-sidedness to comprehensiveness.From the perspective of the development motive,the development of labour education for university students in China has been "fluctuating" and is closely related to the economic,political,cultural and educational development of New China in the past 70 years.It is only by grasping the historical context and appreciating the charm of the evolution that we can better create the future.Based on the review of the development of labour education for university students since the founding of New China,the basic experience of labour education for university students in China is summarized and summarized from four aspects: direction,nurturing,modernity and effectiveness,such as adhering to the guidance of Marxism;adhering to the concept of people-oriented education;adhering to the adaptation to the development of the same period;and adhering to the combination of explicit and implicit education.However,due to historical conditions,there are some shortcomings in the development of labour education for university students in China,such as the lack of systematic policy guidance,and the guarantee mechanism is not yet sound;physical labour and mental labour are separated,and labour and teaching are separated;the imbalance between social and personal orientation,and the value orientation needs to be balanced;the theory and practice of labour education are disconnected,and the synergy needs to be co-ordinated,etc.As practice is endless and development is endless,labour education for college students is always on the way of development.Therefore,in view of its shortcomings,countermeasures are proposed to improve labour education for college students from the aspects of education concept,education mode,practice link and guarantee system. |
