| We can learn from history.The history of the Party is the most vivid and persuasive textbook.Attaching importance to Party history education is a fine tradition of our Party.Our Party has always used Party history to educate people and young people.At present,the ideological and political education of Chinese college students faces challenges,especially under the influence of foreign ideological trend and historical nihilism,the ideal and belief of contemporary college students are affected negatively.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out high quality Party history education in ideological and political education of college students.Carrying out the Party history education can not only stimulate the ideals and beliefs of college students,but also train them to set up correct values,outlook on life,world view and correct view of the Party history,and guide them to be wise,trustworthy,virtuous and practical.This paper takes the problems existing in the party history education as the breakthrough point,analyzes the reasons and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.Interpreting the significance of strengthening the Party history education of college students in the new era is helpful to maintain the national ideological security,implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and educating people in colleges and universities,and guide college students to establish a correct view of Party history.Secondly,the present situation of Party history education in 20 universities was investigated by questionnaire,and teachers in these 20 universities were interviewed by telephone.Through the questionnaire and interview,it is concluded that the results have been achieved in three aspects: college students pay more attention to the Party history education,the Party history courses in colleges are effective and the Party history education resources are abundant.However,there are still the following problems: some students do not know enough about the importance of Party history education,some teachers do not grasp the overall knowledge system of Party history,and the quality of practical activities in colleges and universities needs to be improved.According to the problems,the reasons are analyzed from college students’ own ability,teachers’ teaching ability and the carrier of campus practice activities.Finally,in view of the above problems and causes,the paper explores the countermeasures of Party history education for college students under the background of the new era,respectively from the three aspects of improving the self-education level of college students in the new era,ensuring the teaching staff to improve the role of Party history education and strengthening the effectiveness of Party history education relying on practical activities. |
