With the advancement of the modernization of Chinese-style social governance,it is an urgent requirement to build a peaceful China and advance the rule of law in China by combining crackdown and prevention to fight telecom and online fraud that prompts the strongest public reaction.To crack down on telecom and online fraud,it is necessary to form a responsibility system for coordinated governance as well as to build an allround anti-fraud propaganda network.Particularly,it is required to pay attention to the preferences of mobile users in network communication’s layout and it is an important channel to curb the high incidence of telecom and online fraud at its source to promote the construction of a national anti-fraud atmosphere,improve the people’s ability to prevent fraud and recognize fraud with the help of TikTok’s influence as the top livestreaming platform.Studying the short videos of government anti-fraud propaganda on TikTok and deeply analyzing the connotation,significance and social responsibility from the theoretical perspective of semiotics showcase the communication advantages of government affairs new media.Taking the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok short video as the research object,this paper first summarizes the rise process of the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok short video to present the anti-fraud propaganda deployment work under the background of policy and law and discuss the reasons for the rise of antifraud propaganda TikTok short video.Secondly,with the background of Pierce’s symbol theory,the symbolic presentation,symbolic connotation meaning and interactive significance of the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok short video are analyzed in depth,and it is concluded that character symbols,copywriting symbols and scene symbols together constitute the text of anti-fraud propaganda symbols,and each of them produces different effects in the process of symbolic meaning.Then,from the symbolic process,the factors affecting the acceptance of the meaning of anti-fraud propaganda to achieve anti-fraud and modernization of social governance are explored,and it is concluded that the recipient’s interpretation items are affected by factors such as contextual metalanguage,ability metalanguage,and symbolic text.Finally,the problems of symbol reproduction,interpretation of the meaning of the item,and object marking in the short video of the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok are further summarized,and the path of optimizing the symbolism of anti-fraud propaganda symbols to realize the transmission of social significance of anti-fraud propaganda is proposed to better establish the awareness of anti-fraud among the public.The study of the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok short video from the perspective of semiotics has important practical significance,which is conducive to carrying out more accurate and targeted prevention publicity,creating an anti-fraud atmosphere for the whole society,strengthening the risk awareness of responding to telecom network fraud,maintaining social security,and building a meaningful space for mass prevention and mass governance.In addition,the semiotic theory is used to deeply explore the government’s anti-fraud propaganda TikTok short video,which also has certain theoretical significance for expanding the research ideas of government affairs short video.
