Advocating heroes is the key to their emergence,and striving to be heroes is the key to their large-scale emergence.The Party and state have long held the highest regard for the admiration of heroes and models.Now,we honor them with the utmost esteem,to honor their unique traits of loyalty,perseverance,and simplicity."For over 40 years of reform and liberation,the examination of model figures has become a humanistic and historic subject in a singular historical epoch.Deeply study the image of a model,analyze the internal characteristics of a model character,and highly publicize the spirit of a model,so that it can realize its own value to the greatest extent.A model image’s establishment is of both exemplary and exemplary importance,and it can lead to experiences or teachings of universal importance,so as to direct public opinion,educate people,foster the establishment of mainstream social values,and foster social advancement and growth.This paper employs young college students as its research object,taking the communication effect as a key factor,selecting students of varying genders,grades,and majors as its data source,utilizing the content analysis and questionnaire survey techniques,and beginning from the viewpoint of the communication effect of heroes’ images.It then unites the applicable theories of journalism and communication to conduct research from the following ideas.First of all,it introduces the overall characters of the models of the winners of the Republic Medal and analyzes their main characteristics.A questionnaire is crafted to evaluate the learning pathways and motivation of young college students,the approval of these students,the communication effect of the model image,the conduct of young college students,and the disparity analysis of the communication effect,all based on the research hypothesis.the model image among college students,trying to reveal the specific embodiment and problems of the model image’s cultivation effect on young college students in the communication process.
