Marx’s political economy is a doctrine based on the objective laws of economic and social development and a critique of the capitalist mode of production. In Das Kapital,Marx pointed out that the social relations between people in capitalist society are concealed by the relations of things, while in the future communist society of the "free association of man",the social relations between people are expressed as a "simple and clear" one, without exploitation and exploitation. In the future communist society of the "free association of man",the relationship between man and man will be a "simple" social relationship without exploitation.Based on the text of Das Kapital, this study will explore the focus and significance of the theory of social relations, divided into the following four parts. The first part focuses on the premises of the formation of the theory of social relations in Das Kapital.Marx critically inherited the ideas of social relations from classical German philosophy and British political economy, and launched a fierce attack on the conservative ideas of social relations in vulgar economics. With the development of the productive forces, new social relations came into being, but this social relation had irrationality due to the intensification of class contradictions. It provides the premise for the study of Marx’s theory of social relations in Capital. The second part is based on the development process of Marx’s theory of social relations, and provides a perspective on Marx’s theory of social relations before Das Kapital. From The Doctoral Thesis to the period of The German and French Annals,Marx’s exploration of the theory of social relations achieved a turn from self-consciousness to material interest relations. From the period of The Philosophical Manuscripts on Economics of 1844 to The German Ideology,Marx’s theory of social relations focuses more on the "real individual" in material practice. In the period from The Poverty of Philosophy to Wage Labor and Capital,Marx focused on political economy and used the relations of production as an entry point to elaborate the theory of social relations. The third part is an elaboration of the main elements of social relations in Das Kapital.Social relations can be expressed in the social organism in three forms:economic, political, and cultural, they constitute relations of production, class relations, and ideological relations. With these three basic forms of social relations as the theoretical support, the material carrier of social relations in a materially dependent society presents the basic kernel of the theory of social relations as a logical starting point, and the value of the theory of social relations is to criticize and transcend materialized social relations,so as to achieve a new social relation with human liberation as the theme in a human-independent society. The fourth part explores the value orientation of the theory of social relations in Das Kapital. On the theoretical side, the theory of social relations in Das Kapital enriches Marx’s doctrine and highlights the wholeness of Marx’s doctrine. On the practical side,it provides a guiding method for the balanced development of social relations in China in the new era,and provides a scientific vision for solving the practice of social relations in China. |
