With the wide application of digital technology,artificial intelligence,virtual reality technology in the field of communication,human information dissemination has entered the “all-media era”.All-media application technology makes up for the limitations of “one-way” communication in traditional propaganda methods,brings diversified communication channels and broader development space for propaganda and ideological work,and greatly enhances the attractiveness and appeal of propaganda and ideological work.The propaganda and ideological work carried out in rural areas,the key fields of social construction,is basic,long-term and strategic,and has always been the top priority of the party’s entire propaganda and ideological strategy.However,rural propaganda and ideological work has always been in a relatively weak position in the overall propaganda and ideological work,and its adaptability to the new era,new changes and new tasks was low.Following the pace of the times,rural areas made full use of the advantages of multiple media channels,diverse forms and multidimensional contents to effectively integrate information resources and built a new model of rural propaganda and ideological work in an all-round,multi-angle and in-depth manner so as to promote the quality and efficiency of rural propaganda and ideological work.Based on the background of the all-media era,the thesis sorted out the historical evolution process of propaganda and ideological work,explored the current situation and shortcomings of rural propaganda and ideological work under the new situation.with the help of the investigation and analysis by combining the new characteristics of information dissemination and public opinion environment in the all-media era,put forward innovative ideas and countermeasures for propaganda and ideological work in rural areas in view of new requirements and challenges,and promoted the party’s innovative theory to “fly into the homes of ordinary people” in the all-media era,so that the “main theme” of mainstream ideology played the strongest voice of the era in rural areas,truly penetrating the ears,brains,and hearts to improve continuously the ideological and cultural literacy of peasants,promote the spiritual civilization in rural areas,break through the “middle obstruction” of grassroots propaganda and ideological work and walk the “last kilometer” in a hurry-by-step manner,so as to concentrate on the realization of the Chinese dream of rural revitalization and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
