Research On Crime Of Meat Food Safety In China

Food safety is a matter of national security and livelihood.Meat is one of the most important food in our daily consumption because of its high protein and nutritional properties.So it is crucial to ensure meat food safety.There are various types of meat food safety risks,and the crime of meat food safety is the more serious and dangerous act of meat food safety.And the crime of meat food safety is also a persistent problem affecting the overall situation of meat food safety.Based on a criminological perspective,this paper attempts to explore the current situation of crimes of meat food safety,analyze the causes of crime,and then propose targeted countermeasures for control.This paper uses literature research,statistical analysis,and survey methods to conduct research.This paper analyzes the current situation and causes of crime based on the statistical analysis of 900 criminal judgments,interviews,research,and expert opinions,and proposes countermeasures based on the causes of crime.In terms of the current situation of crime,the crime tends to be stable in terms of quantity,with the largest number in sales links.The crime subjects are mainly young male offenders with low education,and most of them are engaged in meat food-related occupations.The crime is imbalanced distribution.The crime objects are mainly beef and pork.The crime types are diverse and the typical behavior patterns are obvious.In terms of crime causes,the causes of crime are diverse.The analysis of the causes is based on the containment theory,which reveals that negative industry rules enhance the outer pull.The benefits of crime outweigh the costs of crime,which increases the impulse to commit crime.The lack of food safety ethics among practitioners is an important reason for the lack of inner containment.And the lack of information asymmetry,insufficient government regulation and crackdown,and insufficient participation of relevant forces in meat food safety governance make external containment ineffective.In terms of countermeasures,the governance of crimes against meat safety should be based on the idea of collaborative governance and the role of multiple actors.The role of public regulation,market autonomy,consumer feedback,industry associations,and media oversight should be emphasized.Multi-agency efforts to protect the meat food safety.The crime of meat food safety is a persistent problem that has received little attention.Combing the current situation of this type of crime,exploring the causes of the crime,and proposing appropriate control countermeasures will help to prevent meat food safety crime.
