| With the frequent occurrence of major health emergencies,provincial public libraries continue to strengthen the construction of emergency information services and begin to play an important role in providing online emergency information services and pushing information resources to library users and the public.The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia has further promoted the attention and implementation of the theory and practice of scholars and the industry.At present,major provincial public libraries in my country have built emergency information service topics,such as Hubei Provincial Library,Jiangsu Provincial Library,Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province,etc.,and tried to re-develop the existing resources of the library from various aspects,to further integrate emergency information,optimize the available information service platform,and hope to continuously improve its own service quality and provide users with services that better meet their needs when emergencies occur.However,many provincial public libraries have a certain blindness and one-sidedness in the construction of emergency information services,failing to comprehensively and systematically present emergency information services to the public,and have not conducted in-depth exploration and development of relevant platforms.Emergency information services are underutilized.The above problems are worthy of our more in-depth exploration and solution.Guided by information service theory and user information demand theory,this paper investigates the emergency information service status of 31 provincial public libraries in my country(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from three perspectives: emergency information service capability,content and platform.Among them,in terms of emergency information service capabilities,it mainly investigates the library’s information early warning capabilities,user needs analysis capabilities and information resource integration capabilities;in terms of content,it uses event-related resource services,psychological adjustment services and information screening services as classification standards At the same time,taking Douyin,We Chat and Weibo platforms as examples,the development and utilization of platform functions,information push effects and user friendliness when provincial public libraries use the above platforms to carry out emergency information services.investigation.After investigation and research,the author found that although the emergency information service of provincial public libraries in my country has achieved a transformation from nothing,when emergencies occurred,it began to play a role in serving readers,users and the general public,but it was not in the emergency information service.There are still problems such as untimely release of early warning information,imperfect information resource construction,unsatisfactory information dissemination effect,and low user-friendliness in the process of developing the system.Based on this,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures to solve the above problems.The purpose is to provide ideas for the construction and improvement of future emergency information services in public libraries,and to improve the emergency management capabilities of public libraries to a certain extent. |
