Current Situation And Path Optimization Of College Students’ Participation In Emergency Management In Universities

In recent years,different types of infectious diseases characterized by sociality,abruptness and high infectivity have caused worldwide pandemics for many times,which have a great impact on China’s economic and social development.Colleges and universities have the characteristics of large population density and relatively concentrated activities,and there are potential risks of infectious disease outbreaks.College students are the main affected group.It is necessary to guide and standardize college students’ participation in emergency management in colleges and universities,promote their orderly participation,and provide reference for mobilizing college students to prevent and respond to major public health events in the future.This paper studies the influence mechanism of college students’ participation in college emergency management behavior under the background of COVID-19,and the theoretical sources are planning behavior theory,public participation theory and emergency management theory.This paper takes college students from 9 universities in Wuhan as the research object,and after data processing of 359 valid questionnaires obtained from the survey,descriptive analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis are used to obtain the mechanism of influence mechanism,and comprehensively understand the current situation of college students’ participation in emergency management of universities.Through the investigation,it is found that there are the following problems in college students’ participation in the emergency management process: there is a big difference in perceived behavior control,the implementation of epidemic prevention behavior is not in place,the awareness of following epidemic prevention discipline needs to be strengthened,the understanding of volunteer spirit is not comprehensive,and the expression of participation is not rational.Based on the above problems,this paper puts forward the optimization path from four aspects: government,society,universities and individuals.At the government level:play the leading role of the government and supervise the regular epidemic prevention in colleges and universities;Improve the network public opinion analysis and supervision mechanism to create a good information environment;Strengthen knowledge dissemination and health education,and publicize the development of the epidemic situation.At the social level: strengthen the responsibility of mainstream media and promote mainstream social values;Mobilize social forces to fight the epidemic together.At the university level: improve the pre-treatment combined with emergency management system,strengthen the basic guarantee;Strengthen the publicity of campus public health emergencies,improve the cognition of college students;Strengthen the recognition of epidemic prevention measures and promote compliance;Cultivate the spirit of volunteerism and improve the motivation mechanism of college students’ participation.At the individual level: pay attention to a comprehensive understanding of the epidemic and achieve adequate protection;Improve their own media literacy,acting as an "opinion leader";Strengthen their own sense of responsibility,actively participate in voluntary services.
