Research On Equalization Of Cultural Service In Foshan Public Library

Culture is the soul of a country and a nation.To build a powerful socialist culture,we must first establish a sound public cultural service system to meet the cultural needs of the masses.Promoting the equal construction of cultural services in public libraries is conducive to improving the overall quality level of residents,ensuring the realization of citizens’ cultural rights and speeding up the construction process of socialist spiritual civilization.This paper analyzes the problems existing in providing cultural services in Foshan Public Library,and then studies how to improve the quality and efficiency of its public services,so that citizens can enjoy more and richer cultural products and services,achieve a higher level of equalization of public cultural services,and promote the high-quality development of cultural undertakings.Based on social equity theory,public product theory and other theories,through literature research,questionnaire survey,case analysis and other research methods,the paper analyzes the development status of cultural service equalization in Foshan public library.Foshan preliminary built public library service system,self-help service system constantly improve,the free service for the whole reveal its public welfare,reading activities the brand operation effect is remarkable,but there is less overall service number,large difference of service level between urban and rural areas,regional unbalanced development,resource circulation service sharing such practical problems as inadequate,The reasons lie in such factors as insufficient attention to equalization development of public cultural services,insufficient financial investment,imperfect service system construction and imperfect equalization assessment mechanism.Combining foshan’s own conditions and drawing lessons from domestic and foreign experience,we need to further strengthen the equal construction of cultural services of Foshan public library from the following aspects: first,continue to strengthen the guarantee support of system,capital and talents;The second is to constantly improve the system construction of the joint library;Third,actively explore and promote the construction of intelligent library;The fourth is to promote the equalization of cultural services through standardized and specialized construction.Exploring how to improve the cultural service equalization level of Foshan public library can not only enhance the cultural soft power of Foshan city,but also provide theoretical and empirical reference for other cities in China to realize the cultural service equalization of public library.
