Research On Cultural Elderly Care Services Of Public Libraries In Shanxi Province

China’s aging process has accelerated,and the Chinese government attaches great importance to and solves the problem of population aging and actively develops the cause of aging.In recent years,China’s economic development has achieved remarkable results and the living standards of its people have steadily improved,and the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly group have increased day by day.Following the rapid development of the combined health care model,cultural pension has gradually become another pension demand of the elderly.In recent years,local governments,pension institutions and charities have actively explored new formats and models of "cultural old-age care",making cultural activities gradually become one of the important contents of the daily pension of the elderly.At the same time,in the context of rapid digital development,how to integrate the elderly group into digital life as a technical vulnerable group in the traditional sense has also become a major starting point for the urgent reform and innovation of cultural elderly care services and promote diversification,specialization and digital development.As an important part of the public cultural service system,public libraries are integrated into the field of digitization and play an extremely important role in this environment.Through reviewing a large number of relevant literature,it is found that there are few studies on the cultural elderly care service model of public libraries,most of the research focuses on the information behavior characteristics of the elderly,and the attention to their public services is not enough,and there are relatively few literature materials that combine public libraries and cultural elderly care service models for exploration.Therefore,this paper focuses on the content of cultural elderly care services of public libraries,first summarizes the concept and connotation of cultural elderly care,studies the development and construction of public libraries under different cultural and institutional conditions,and specifically explains the content of cultural elderly care services.Focusing on the cultural elderly care service policy,service content,service system,quality,related facilities and equipment,etc.,the analysis of public libraries in Shanxi Province is carried out,mainly through questionnaire surveys and field investigations,especially the questionnaire survey content focuses on the service content,facilities and equipment,literature and materials of public libraries in Shanxi Province,followed by questions on the cultural elderly care services and related facilities of public libraries in Shanxi Province,and the types of interview objects cover differences in education level,pre-retirement occupations,urban and rural differences,etc.Through combing through relevant literature,field research and questionnaire result analysis,it is found that the current cultural elderly care service of public libraries in Shanxi Province generally has more or less problems in five aspects: information platform technical support,collection digital resource construction,digital talent reserve,service content form,and service measures for special groups,such as relatively single content and perfect service measures.In addition,the equipping of related facilities also requires special attention.According to the analysis results of the cultural elderly care service of public libraries in Shanxi Province,suggestions are formulated,and improvement measures are proposed from various aspects,which is conducive to improving the overall service quality and service level of libraries,which has a promoting effect on the development of public libraries in Shanxi Province in the new situation,and has a reference effect on other libraries of the same type.
