| Publicity is an important function of Marxist political party,and the publicity work runs through the revolution,construction and reform of the Communist Party of China.Rural publicity work is an important part of the rural work of the CPC,and it is also a vital way for the Party to carry out the line,principles and policies in rural areas,as well as an effective means to promote rural work.The Communist Party of China carried out regular publicity work in rural areas through the use of popular propaganda measures,which not only quickly disseminated the Party’s policies,aroused the masses to take part in the work,but also imported the national ideology into the rural grassroots society,realized the interaction between the Communist Party of China and the rural masses,and built a solid ideological position in the rural grassroots.In the early days of the founding of the people’s Republic of the New China,it was necessary for the Party to carry out publicity work in Shanxi rural areas.Aggressive publicity work was indispensable for CPC,which can not only consolidate the community level-governments level and the mass base,and strengthen the ties between the Party and the masses,but also gradually raise the ideological awareness of the masses,and mobilize the masses to participate in production and construction.In view of the actual situation in Shanxi rural areas and the existing propaganda organization mechanism in the early days of the founding of the New China,the CPC took advantage of newspaper reading groups,complaints movement,allegro,blackboard and other propaganda measures.The purpose was to carry out a series of publicity work in the vast rural areas,from new district land reform,the suppression of counter-revolution and the movement of resisting America and aiding Korea,to the agricultural production propaganda and to anti-literacy campaign and implement the law of new marriage.In this process,people’s national consciousness can be inspired and awakened,the enthusiasm and initiative of the masses can be fully mobilized,and the connection between the Party and the masses can be strengthened.However,due to the historical limitations of the publicity work in the early period of the Communist Party of China’s ruling and the early period of the founding of the New China,there were inevitably some deviations such as out of shape and not going out of heart in the concrete publicity practice.But at the same time,there was no denying that accumulate a lot of the historical experience in this process,such as insisting on the party’s strong leadership of the rural publicity work,carrying out publicity around the rural central work,ideological mobilization comes first has provided beneficial enlightenment for the new period of rural publicity work.The above experience provided beneficial enlightenment for rural publicity work in the new period.The Communist Party of China took publicity as a network.With the help of state power sinking,the power of regime penetrated into every corner of rural society.This way not only inspired and awakened the national consciousness of the rural people-the farmers from the“ego”concept of being immersed in production and unaware of politics to conscious action,but also strengthened the relationship between the Party and the people,and further enhanced the identity and support,and solidified the leadership core position of the CPC in rural areas.It was beneficial to strengthen and improve publicity work in rural areas and implement the rural revitalization strategy. |
