Research On The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of Digital Government Construction In China

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the development between the government and the Internet.The Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Major Issues on Adhering to and Improving the Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics and Promoting the Modernization of the National Governance System and Governance Capacity adopted by the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that it is necessary to be good at using the Internet,big data,artificial intelligence and other technical means for administrative management of institutional rules and accelerate the construction of digital government.Promoting the digital transformation of the government and leading the high-quality development of the current social economy is an important strategy for building a "network power",an inevitable requirement for accelerating the construction of a "digital China",and an important way to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply study the current situation of China’s digital government construction,find out the shortcomings in the current development process,analyze the causes of these problems,and put forward targeted suggestions to promote the continued development of China’s digital government.The article will elaborate on the study of digital government in three parts:The first part mainly explains the concept and characteristics of digital government and the development process of digital government in China.The first is the connotation of digital government,and the current background of building digital government is introduced.Secondly,the characteristics of digital government are explained from the aspects of timeliness,dataization,and mobility.Finally,it is an explanation of China’s digital government from the initial informatization stage of government affairs to the stage of e-government and then to the stage of digital government.The second part analyzes and elaborates on the achievements and existing problems of the current digital government construction.Since its construction,the digital government has achieved certain results and played a very important role in promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.However,there are still some problems in the construction of digital government,which need to be continuously explored and improved.The third part puts forward relevant suggestions for the problems existing in digital government.From the construction of data openness,legal management,public orientation,data security,and talent training,we will further promote the digital transformation and development of the Chinese government.In short,strengthening the construction of digital government is the top priority of implementing the informatization strategy,and plays a very important role in promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.Through the construction of digital government in practice,we can clearly see the progress of digital government in terms of operation mechanism,institutional guarantee,talent team construction,and data application.Through the continuous improvement of digital government construction,it will certainly play a better role in the construction of digital China and promote the further development of digital China.
