Job satisfaction originated in foreign countries.On this basis,domestic scholars have carried out researches on the job satisfaction of employees in all walks of life,mostly focusing on employees in enterprises.However,there are relatively few researches on the job satisfaction of civil servants,and even fewer researches on police officers.As the guardian of national security,social order,people and personal property,police officers’ job satisfaction can effectively effect their working efficiency.So study and improve it can help to practice the purpose of "serving the people".In this thesis,the work satisfaction of police officers in CT public Security Department was studied by means of literature reading,questionnaire distribution,face-To-face interview and other research methods,referring to the commonly used survey tools at home and abroad.Through the research method of questionnaire and interview,the factors affecting the job satisfaction of police officers in CT Public Security Department were collected and sorted out,which were summarized into 4sections,coming to 7 problems: low matching degree of people and posts,narrow promotion channels for ranks,humdrum learning and training,tense relationship between colleagues,inadequate logistics support,lack of special cultural construction,imperfect performance appraisal mechanism and so on.On this basis,combining Maslow’s demand Theory,Mintzberg’s Two-factor Theory and Adams’ s equity Theory,this thesis puts forward suggestions on how to improve The job satisfaction of police officers in CT public Security Department,from the aspects of personal development,team building,welfare benefits and organization management,and provides a reference for improving the job satisfaction of police officers in CT public Security Department.
