| C Prison in Sichuan Province,as a prison that holds female criminals and is dominated by female prison police,its grassroots female police are under great pressure and responsibility,and shoulder the important responsibility of safeguarding national security and stability.In particular,due to the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic starting from 2020,female police are in the closed working mode and under high pressure.Compared with other occupations,they feel the gap and are not understood by their families or the society,and their professional identity is generally affected.Through investigation,research and analysis of their professional identity,and based on the results of the investigation and analysis,thesis puts forward suggestions on improving the professional identity of female police officers in C prison,which plays a vital role in improving their career loyalty and reducing their job burnout.Based on the identity theory and organizational justice theory,thesis investigates and analyzes female police officers in C prison from three dimensions of emotional identity,normative identity and continuous identity with the questionnaire developed by Meyer’s three-dimension theoretical model,and supplements it with semi-structured interview.Through the investigation results,the problems affecting C prison’s professional identity are analyzed.Specifically,the problems include low emotional identity of C prison,low emotional identity of middle age,low emotional identity and sustained identity of middle and high education police,low normative identity of non-leadership police,low sustained identity of grassroots prison leaders,etc.Combined with semi-structured interviews,we learned that some police have low motivation for public service,and grassroots police are under too much pressure and are not understood by the society.Finally,combined with the research conclusion,it analyzes the influencing factors and puts forward some suggestions to improve the professional identity.In terms of motivation for public service,we can improve our own motivation subjectively by obtaining positive cognition of career value and improving professional quality,while for objective government personnel management,we need to pay more attention to the police.By strengthening the career security of female police and improving the assessment and incentive mechanism,we should combine the organizational justice theory with reasonable use.At the same time,it advocates the social level to guide public opinion more actively and establish a reasonable public crisis response mechanism.Only with multi-layer attention and efforts can the professional identity of the police be comprehensively improved. |
