Research On The Relationship Between Capital And Labor In The Economic Manuscripts Of 1857-1858

In his evaluation of Das Kapital,Engels said: "The relationship between capital and labor is the axis around which our whole modern social system rotates,and this relationship has been scientifically explained for the first time." The study of the relationship between capital and labor in the Economic Manuscript of 1857-1858 constitutes the "lab of thought" of the scientific explanation of this relationship in Das Kapital.On the basis of the disintegration of feudal land ownership,capitalists in capitalist society purchased workers’ labor force through the material form of money,while capital and living labor ability exchanged to complete their own proliferation,which revealed the essence of capital’s exploitation of labor in capitalist production relations.In his Economic Manuscript of 1857-1858,Marx continued the theme of early economic research,and formed the theory of surplus value and a relatively complete theory of capital for the first time in the deepening of historical materialism.By dissecting every link of the relationship between capital and labor,he revealed the myth that capital becomes the "shining light" dominating modern society.In the Economic Manuscript of 1857-1858,Marx began to think independently about the system structure of political economy,which not only realized the importance of the study of the relationship between capital and labor,but also laid the theoretical foundation for the creation of Das Kapital.
