Research On The "People First" Positions Of Ideological And Political Education

The position of ideological and political education determines the direction of ideological and political education going forward and the direction of a country and nation going forward.The "people first" position has a rich theoretical connotation.Since the founding of the Party,the Chinese Communist Party has taken national prosperity and people’s happiness as its goal of struggle.In the process of revolution,construction and reform,the Chinese Communists have gradually developed the concept of "serving the people wholeheartedly","the people are the kingdom","ruling for the people" and "peoplecentered" development;organically it combines the traditional Chinese people-oriented thinking and creatively transforms it,adheres to the Marxist materialistic view of history on the people’s subject,and insists on the internal consistency between the proletarian position and the "people first" position,and finally completes the conceptual sublimation of the "people first" positioned in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the concept of "people first" has been sublimated.The CPC adheres to the position of "people first" and has completely abandoned the traditional thinking that regards the people as the antithesis of the regime and adheres to the direction of people-centered development.Therefore,socialist ideological and political education with Chinese characteristics also has the dual attributes of politics and nurturing,based on the position of "people first”.Thus,the essence of ideological and political education is further sublimated,and it is the organic unity of ideological inculcation and comprehensive development of human beings.The"people first" position to establish multiple characteristics of socialist ideological and political education with Chinese characteristics,such as people,mass,orientation and ideology,reflecting the distinctive values of the Communist Party of China and socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the position of "people first",ideological and political education in China has been given various functions while establishing a distinctive status.Entering a new era,facing the great goal of comprehensively building a modern socialist country,the goals and tasks of ideological and political education have become more and more specific and operative.The fundamental goal of ideological and political education is to improve people’s ideological and moral quality,promote their comprehensive and free development,and inspire them to strive for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the eventual realization of communism.Based on this,we set specific goals for different groups of educated people and different environments,forming a scientific goal system.According to the establishment of the target system,the tasks of ideological and political education are also gradually broken down into many aspects such as ideal and belief education,patriotism education,moral character education,and education on democracy and rule of law.In order to realize the continuous optimization and development of ideological and political education,the "people first" position also guides the innovation and evaluation of ideological and political education,and takes the "people first" position as the basis to continuously promote the enrichment of ideological and political education theoretical content,the reform of education methods,and the upgrading of evaluation system.In short,the "people first" position sets the general tone for the construction,implementation and development of ideological and political education,and provides an important ideological guarantee and directional support for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
