Xi Jinping’s Important Exposition On Party History

It is a fine tradition of Chinese Communists to attach importance to learning and summarizing Party history.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping has deeply explained the theoretical achievements,development experience and great spirit of the Communist Party of China in more than 100 years of hard exploration.These important discussions are of great significance for us to better understand and feel the history of the Party and draw wisdom and strength on the road ahead.This article elaborates from three aspects: the formation basis,main content and great significance of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on Party history.From the theoretical basis of formation,Xi Jinping’s important treatises on Party history not only inherited and developed those of Marx,Engels and Lenin,but also drew on and absorbed those of the main leaders of the Communist Party of China.From the historical conditions of its formation,the historical tragedy of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the challenges faced by foreign major parties at the present stage have given the Communist Party of China,a century-old major party,many inspirations.In addition,Xi Jinping’s rich life experience and political experience is also an important basis for the formation of Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the history of the Party.From the perspective of the actual conditions,the severe challenges facing the ideological field at the present stage,the problems existing in the Communist Party of China’s self-construction and the difficulties facing the realization of the goal of socialist modernization power all contributed to Xi Jinping’s new interpretation of the Party history.In addition,Xi Jinping also made many new generalizations about the basic connotation of the Party history,major events in the Party history,relevant figures,major meetings and the requirements and purposes to be achieved in the study of the Party history,which constituted the main content of Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the Party history.In terms of theoretical significance,Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the Party history not only inherits and develops the Marxist view of social history,but also deepens and broadens the new realm of Chinese Communists’ understanding of the party history and enriches Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.In terms of practical significance,Xi Jinping’s important expositions on party history provide theoretical guidance for criticizing historical nihilism,point out the direction for inheriting the party’s red genes,and provide methodological guidance for the innovative development of party history research.
