Marx’s Theory Of Population And Its Contemporary Enlightenment

As one of the important factors in the development of social economy,population has always been a hot issue in today’s society.On the basis of criticizing and absorbing the population thought of classical economists and utopian socialists and combining with the reality of population development in capitalist society,Marx established Marx’s population theory.Marx’s population theory reveals that capitalists mercilessly exploit the working class under the capitalist system,hoping that the proletariat in the world will unite to overthrow the capitalist exploitation system and establish a communist society,so as to realize the free and comprehensive development of human beings.The mission and task of the Communist Party of China is to realize the second centenary Goal and promote the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in an all-round way through Chinese-style modernization.Population modernization is an important part of China’s modernization.Since entering the new era,China’s population has been facing unprecedented pressure.Problems such as low birth rate,aging population and low overall quality of the population have been hindering China’s social and economic development.The social system of our country has decided that Marxist theory is the guiding ideology of our country,and as an important part of Marxist theory,Marxist population theory is of great value to guide the population development.The contemporary value of Marx’s population theory for China’s population development is outstanding in the following aspects: Marx’s population theory has great influence on the government to formulate the birth policy which conforms to China’s national conditions;Marx’s population theory has guiding significance in promoting national quality and increasing the employment rate.Marx’s population theory has far-reaching significance in promoting the construction of ecological civilization.The paper systematically analyzes the ideological basis,time conditions and main contents of Marx’s population theory,analyzes the successful experience and shortcomings in the practice of contemporary Chinese population development,and expounds the contemporary value of Marx’s population theory.The content of this article can be divided into the following four parts:Part One: the population thought before Marx’s population theory.This part mainly combs the discussion of demographers on population issues before the emergence of Marx’s population theory.Standing on the materialist standpoint,Marx established the scientific population theory by deeply studying the law of population development under the capitalist society,and at the same time criticizing and absorbing the previous scholars’ population thought.The second part: the historical conditions of the formation of Marx’s population theory.This part mainly through a comprehensive review of the historical conditions of the generation of Marx’s population theory,on the basis of the analysis of the generation of Marx’s population theory background and its development process,to clarify the position of Marx’s population theory in the Marxist theoretical system.Part three: the main content of Marx’s population theory.In this part,on the basis of in-depth study of Marn’s classic works on population issues,the two production theories,the unification theory of population development and social development,the population quality theory and the relative excess population theory proposed in Marx’s population theory are sorted out and studied.Part four: the contemporary value of Marx’s population theory.In this part,on the basis of analyzing the valuable experience of our population development and existing problems,we will deeply excavate the Marxist population theory to play the important guiding value in our contemporary population development,and combine the Marxist population theory with the national conditions of our country to solve the contemporary population problems.
