In the late 20 th century,with the development of the Internet,the term "new media" gradually attracted people’s attention.It relies on digital technology to expand the scope of information dissemination to the world,and greatly improves the speed of information dissemination.It has a series of characteristics that are completely different from traditional media.In order to adapt to the development and changes of the media environment,government departments at all levels in my country have chosen to host major new media platforms.Because the new government media has functions such as rich forms and vivid content,when the government discloses relevant affairs through the new government media platform,the public is more willing to accept and more easily accept relevant information,thereby increasing the credibility of the government.But for the public,once the relevant government departments use the new government media to express inappropriate remarks,it may cause the public to lose confidence in the government,thereby affecting the development of government credibility.Therefore,it is very necessary to improve the credibility of the government through the new media of government affairs.Hefei is the capital of Anhui Province and the largest city in the province,with a large population and rapid economic development.While the economic level has improved,it has also driven the development of science and technology in Hefei.District governments have begun to establish their own new media for government affairs to promote communication between the government and the public.However,with the rapid development of the Internet,the speed of information dissemination is fast,and the fermentation of various public opinions will lead to chaos in the social,economic and political order.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the credibility of the Hefei Municipal Government through the effective use of new government media,thereby improving public satisfaction.This paper first expounds the related concepts of government new media and government credibility,and discusses the relationship between the two from the inherent requirements on the basis of the new public service theory,social contract theory and open government theory.Secondly,this paper takes the people of Hefei City as the sample survey object,and from the perspective of new government affairs media,conducts an empirical investigation and research on the factors related to the improvement of government credibility in the form of questionnaires.The problems mainly include the poor interaction between the government and the public,the poor timeliness of responding to public opinions,the uneven development of new media in government affairs,and the low degree of public participation.Thirdly,this article aims at the problems analyzed in the questionnaire and finds out the causes of the problems,mainly from the lack of public opinion skills of the Hefei Municipal Government in applying the new media of government affairs,the imperfect operation mechanism of the new media platform of government affairs,the unclear function positioning of the new media of government affairs,and the lack of public opinion skills of the government affairs new media.The reasons for the imperfect laws and regulations related to new media are analyzed from four aspects.Finally,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on how to improve government credibility from the perspective of new government media: first,to improve the quality of government-civilian interaction;second,to improve the timeliness of online crisis public relations;third,to accurately create a new government media matrix;fourth,to promote public participation Governmental positivity. |
