RCEP Intellectual Property Rules Comparison Research And Revelation

On January 1,2022,the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement"(RCEP)officially took effect.As the world’s largest free trade agreement today,RCEP will play an important role in alleviating the impact of new coronary pneumonia’s epidemic,promoting world economic growth,and deepening regional economic integration.RCEP covers a wide range of fields and is a comprehensive,modern,high-quality,and reciprocal free trade agreement.Intellectual property rules are an important part of the agreement.RCEP Intellectual Property Rules have the characteristics of comprehensive,tolerance,keeping pace with the times,and stability.On the basis of consistent with the TRIPS agreement,it also reflects the new trend of intellectual property protection development in the background of the digital economy era.The RCEP intellectual property rules fully considers the economic development level and legal system status of various countries in the region,that is,to safeguard the interests of developed countries and meet the demands of developing countries,promote the international rules of intellectual property rights to "tolerance,balance,and inclusive" Development.In this article analyzing the RCEP intellectual property rules,this article is mainly performed through comparative analysis methods.First,compare the RCEP intellectual property rules with the TRIPS agreement.Secondly,compare it with my country’s intellectual property protection system.Through comparison,the overall protection level of the RCEP intellectual property rules exceeds the requirements of the TRIPS agreement.Some terms reflect the protection standards of Trips-Plus,and also reflect the new trend of intellectual property protection in the digital environment today.my country’s intellectual property protection system basically meets the requirements of RCEP intellectual property rules,but there are still some regulations that need to be paid attention to.In this regard,my country should actively follow up the legal amendments and improve the level of intellectual property law enforcement and the level of judicial protection.At the same time,on the basis of a comprehensive performance,it is necessary to understand the inspiration of the RCEP intellectual property rules.The direction of development,the RCEP intellectual property protection standards in the Belt and Road Initiative,and striving to promote the solution mechanism of the non-litigation disputes in intellectual property rights,and to assist developing countries to build an intellectual property legal system with advantages.In addition,my country should seize the opportunity to sign the opportunity to join RCEP to further improve the level of intellectual property protection,and provide important references for my country to join and perform CPTPP in the future.
