Study On The Public Trust Problem And Countermeasures Of W Town Government In Hebei Province

The credibility of township governments is an important power in social governance and construction,it’s also an important factor that promotes social progress and national stability.As a grass-roots administrative organizations in our country,township governments are closely related to the people.The behavior of township governments largely determines the image among the people,and directly affects the people’s recognition.Due to the improvement in government’s implement during past a few years,the credibility of township governments has improved,but dissatisfied phenomena still exist,such as improper decrees,ineffective implementation,corruptions etc.Therefore,it is necessary to take practical measures to improve the credibility of township governments and establish good image among the people.This paper studies and discusses the government credibility of W Town in Hebei Province.Firstly,the paper introduces the background and significance of the research as well as the domestic and foreign research reviews,and summarizes the research content,research methods,technical routes and research innovation points.Then it introduces the theoretical basis of government credibility and the definition of related concepts of township government credibility.Then it introduces the government situation of W Town,institutional setup and functional division,system construction status analysis,administrative procedures open status analysis,civil servants behavior and quality status analysis and work performance in recent years.Questionnaire survey was adopted to investigate the current situation of the government credibility of W Town,and combined with the survey data and interview survey,the existing problems of the government credibility of W Town were sorted out.It is found that the main problems of the credibility of the government of W Town are manifested as the lagging change of the government’s administrative concept,the lack of stable public policies,the imperfect information disclosure system,the overall quality of civil servants to be improved,and the government’s insufficient ability to meet the basic public needs.Through the analysis of the credibility of the government of W Town,this paper explores the countermeasures to improve the credibility of the government of W Town,namely,innovating the government’s administrative concept,maintaining the stability of the policy,improving the government information disclosure mechanism,strengthening the construction of the civil service team,and improving the service level to meet the public demand.Finally,the paper summarizes and looks forward.
