The Study On The Engels’ View Of State In The Qrigin Of The Family,Private Property And The State

Engels’ view of the state in The Origin of the Family,Private Property and the State(hereinafter referred to as Origin)is based on historical materialism,and its characteristics of historical materialism can be summarized as follows: first,look at the origin of the state from the perspective of economic development.Engels believed that the economic foundation determines the superstructure.Bourgeois scholars publicized the eternity of capitalism through ideological tools in order to cover up the relationship between economy and the origin of the country.Second,explain the origin of state with the method of conflict theory.Engels believed that the state originated from class opposition,while bourgeois scholars advocated "super historical and super class view of the state".Third,define the essence and future of the state from the perspective of origin.Engels pointed out that because the state is an irreconcilable product of class contradictions and the state is a tool used by the ruling class to oppress the exploited class,the state has class nature.The country is bound to die with the disappearance of class.Engels deeply analyzed the process of the emergence,development and extinction of the state in Qrigin.Lenin and the Chinese Communists inherited and carried forward Engels’ view of state,and it still plays an important enlightening role in deeply grasping the essence of the state,correctly performing government functions and scientifically constructing the future society.Through the study of Engels’ view of state in Origin,we can inherit and develop the important ideas,so as to urge us to pay more attention to the view of state in Origin,and actively construct the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics while promoting the Sinicization of Marxism.In the process of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,it is inevitable to encounter some new problems.An in-depth study of the concept of state in Origin will help us effectively promote social construction and enhance our understanding of the Marxist concept of state under the new historical conditions.At the same time,the construction and development of China’s ad hoc socialism has enriched and developed the Marxist theory of state,and the two promote and develop each other.
