Research On The Practice And Value Of Ethnic Regional Autonomy Policy In Liangshan Area

China’s policy of regional ethnic autonomy continues the fine tradition of ethnic governance of "Huaxia" and "Yidi" in Chinese history,draws lessons from the Ethnic policy of the Soviet Union and absorbs the ethnic theory of Marxism.It is a way to solve China’s ethnic problems found by the Communist Party of China combined with China’s ethnic reality."The Chinese people’s political consultative conference common program"(hereinafter referred to as "the common programme")to regional ethnic autonomy as a basic policy to solve the problem of our nation,after the founding of new China began to implement the regional ethnic autonomy policy,the central committee of the communist party of China to send ethnic contingent insight into the ethnic minority areas,promote regional ethnic autonomy policy.Liangshan,located in the southwest of Sichuan Province,is the largest yi community in China,and also the region with the largest ethnic categories and minority population in Sichuan Province.Handling ethnic issues well is related to national unity and national unity.In the early days of the founding of New China,the Liangshan Yi ethnic group area was still in a slave society,where people were oppressed and exploited by slave owners,with rigid hierarchies,numerous family branches,low productivity,lagging economic development,and serious ethnic conflicts and estrangement.With the unremitting efforts of the Central Ethnic visiting group and the local government,Liangshan Yi Autonomous Region was established in 1952(later changed to zhou),and gradually implemented the policy of regional ethnic autonomy,which opened a new chapter of regional ethnic autonomy in Liangshan and achieved a leap of development.On the basis of studying the theoretical origin of the policy,this paper analyzes the historical background of the implementation of the policy in Liangshan,combs the dissemination process and implementation content of the policy in Liangshan,and deeply studies the practice and value of the Party’s policy in Liangshan.The implementation of a series of ethnic regional autonomy policies in Liangshan has laid a political foundation for national unity in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture.Further development is suitable for the regional ethnic autonomy in the region,promoting economic development,is committed to pay special attention to the work of the people’s livelihood,strengthening ethnic cadre team construction,actively carry out the unity of the demonstration activities,strengthened the achievements of the ethnic regional autonomous prefecture ethnic regional autonomy,to promote the development of autonomous prefecture comprehensive towards a new height.
