The organising power of the masses is the ability of the Communist Party of China to use a combination of methods to educate, guide, organise and mobilise the masses of people. The seven years from the founding of New China to the establishment of the basic socialist system were the early years of the founding of the country.During this period, our Party faced many new difficulties and tests, such as the severe international situation, the complex domestic environment and the quality of Party building. In the face of difficulties and challenges, the CPC mobilised the masses to the maximum by relying on the masses, educating them, organising them and mobilising them, forming a solid foundation and source of strength to promote the development of the various undertakings of the socialist revolution and building up a strong organisational force of the masses, making an important contribution to consolidating the Party’s ruling base, safeguarding the various interests of the people and promoting socialist construction.Based on the classic works of Marxism, the historical documents of the Chinese Communist Party and the results of contemporary academic research, this article analyses and studies the construction of the mass organisational power of the Chinese Communist Party in the early years of the founding of the state, based on the perspective of the Marxist materialistic view of history and using a combination of documentary research and historical analysis. The text is divided into four main parts:The first part is about the socio-historical background of the CPC’s efforts to strengthen the building of mass organization in the early years of the founding of the state. In the early period of the founding of the country, when various complex situations at home and abroad were intertwined, the CPC adhered to the Marxist view of the history of the masses, based on the historical foundation of the Party’s building of mass organizing power during the New Democratic Revolution, and once again started a new course of exploration of building mass organizing power under new socio-historical conditions. The second part,on the study of the practical path of the Communist Party of China in the early days of the founding of the country to enhance the organisational power of the masses. The main manifestations are to unite the ideological consensus of the masses with ideological and political education,to lead the masses to act consciously with the principle of safeguarding the interests of the people, and to integrate the collective power of the masses with the focus on the construction of the Party itself. In the third part,an analysis is made to summarise the remarkable results achieved by the CPC in the early years of the founding of the country in enhancing the organisational power of the masses, which are mainly reflected in the close relationship between the Party and the masses, strengthening the Party’s ability to mobilise the masses, improving the Party’s ability to integrate resources and broadening the Party’s way of working with the masses. The fourth part,by systematically summarising the historical experience of the CPC in enhancing the organisational power of the masses in the early years of the founding of the country, provides practical insights for the Party to better enhance the organisational power of the masses in the new era.
