As an important auxiliary force for Chinese public security organs to perform the duties of maintaining national security and social stability,police auxiliary personnel play an important role in maintaining the long-term stability and development of Chinese society.With the continuous expansion of the police auxiliary personnel team,it is of great significance to improve the police auxiliary personnel performance assessment system,standardize the assessment process,and clarify the assessment indicators for improving the work enthusiasm of the police auxiliary personnel,standardizing the work behavior,and better playing the role of the police auxiliary personnel.Because police auxiliary personnel do not belong to the national public servants and their scope of authority is different from that of the police,there are many drawbacks in assessing them completely according to the assessment methods of the police.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a set of special performance assessment for the performance assessment of the police auxiliary personnel of the public security organs.Based on theories related to human resource management,this study uses questionnaire survey,literature analysis and other methods to study the current situation of performance appraisal of police auxiliary personnel in L City Public Security Bureau.The research finds that the main problems in the performance appraisal of the police auxiliary personnel in L City Public Security Bureau are as follows: the method of performance appraisal is unreasonable;Poor professional assessment personnel;The lack of full use of the assessment results leads to the decrease of the enthusiasm of police auxiliary staff.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes of the performance appraisal of the police auxiliary personnel in L City Public Security Bureau,it is proposed to optimize the assessment subject;Optimize the evaluation index;Improve the performance appraisal method;Make full use of the four aspects of performance appraisal results to optimize the appraisal scheme.At the same time,we should strengthen the institutional guarantee;Mechanism guarantee;Organize guarantee and fund guarantee to ensure the implementation of the performance appraisal program of police auxiliary personnel.
