Since the reform and opening up and the implementation of the market economy,China has promoted the prosperity and development of the domestic economy by attracting foreign capital and technology,which is inseparable from the investment promotion work actively carried out throughout the country.The work of attracting investment has been attached great importance in the construction of high-tech zones,free trade zones and other parks with national policies first and foremost.Practice has proved that one of the important means of regional economic and social development is to implement effective investment attraction.This paper takes the investment promotion of Qingdao West Coast New Area as the research object.Through sorting out the investment promotion work of the West Coast New Area,this paper analyzes the problems in the current investment promotion management of the New Area,and provides support for improving the investment promotion management of the New Area,improving the investment promotion work level,and promoting the industrial development of Qingdao West Coast New Area.Based on the theory of competitive advantage,the theory of industrial location,the theory of agglomeration and other relevant theories,the paper uses the methods of literature research and investigation and research,and on the basis of the research of relevant literature at home and abroad.First,it expounds and analyzes the current situation of investment attraction management in Qingdao West Coast new area,including the relevant basic theory of the paper,the general situation of the West Coast new area,and the current situation of investment attraction in the West Coast new area;Secondly,a typical case study and a questionnaire survey were conducted on the issue of attracting investment in Qingdao West Coast new area;Then,it analyzes the problems and causes of investment attraction in the new area in terms of system and mechanism,investment environment,project platform management,project introduction process,follow-up service after project introduction,etc.then,it puts forward the investment attraction management plan of Qingdao West Coast new area,including guiding ideas and principles,overall objectives and structural objectives,as well as the content of the investment attraction management plan,which specifically includes the optimization of system and mechanism Investment environment improvement,investment attraction platform construction,project follow-up service optimization,investment attraction management process optimization,and finally put forward the guarantee measures for the investment attraction management plan of the new area,including organization and personnel guarantee,technical guarantee and assessment guarantee.
