Research On Villagers’ Relative Deprivation Based On Two-dimensional Vertical Structure Model

Farmers are the main body in rural revitalization,and rural development cannot be separated from farmers.How to help farmers enhance their sense of gain,happiness and security is of great significance for promoting rural revitalization and development.Therefore,this paper takes the residents of Shuyi village as the research object,combines the theory of relative deprivation and the two-dimensional vertical structure measurement model,and measures the relative deprivation of rural residents from the horizontal(spatial dimension)and vertical(time dimension).Questionnaire field survey was designed,and 327 questionnaires on rural residents’ sense of relative deprivation were statistically analyzed with the help of SPSS26.0 software.The results are as follows:(1)From the horizontal(spatial dimension)measurement of relative deprivation,the cognitive relative deprivation(3.0)of Shuyi Village residents is higher than the emotional relative deprivation(2.9).From the longitudinal(time dimension)measurement of relative deprivation,the relative cognitive deprivation of Shuyi Village residents(2.9)is higher than that of individual emotional deprivation(2.8).Moreover,from the horizontal and vertical perspectives,economic income brings the highest sense of relative deprivation in the dimensions of individual cognition and individual emotion.(2)From the horizontal(spatial dimension)measurement of relative deprivation,the relative sense of cognitive deprivation(3.4)of Shuyi Village residents is higher than that of emotional deprivation(3.2).From the longitudinal(time dimension)measurement of relative deprivation,the relative sense of cognitive deprivation(2.8)of Shuyi Village residents is higher than that of group emotion(3.0).Moreover,from the horizontal and vertical perspectives,the relative deprivation of employment opportunities and economic income is the highest in the cognitive dimension of the group.(3)Whether from the horizontal,vertical,as well as from the individual and group dimensions of Shu Yi village residents relative deprivation,there is a sense of cognitive relative deprivation is higher than the emotional relative deprivation.(4)From the perspective of the significant influence of basic information of Shuyi Village residents on the sense of relative deprivation,gender,residence time,house renovation time and number of permanent residents have no significant influence on the sense of relative deprivation of residents,while the differences brought by housing area,monthly income and age have a significant influence on the sense of relative deprivation of residents in Shuyi Village.According to the above survey results,The following suggestions are put forward for the revitalization and development of Shuyi Village:(1)Joint development among villages to achieve win-win cooperation;(2)promoting the employability of rural residents and increasing economic income;(3)strengthening the management services of rural residents and doing practical things about people’s livelihood.
