Research On Discipline Construction Of The CPC Since The 18th National Congress

At the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection,General Secretary Xi Jinping said,“To supervise the Party and govern itself with strict discipline,how should it manage and govern it? We must rely on strict discipline.”The Communist Party of China is a proletarian political party guided by Marxism.Discipline construction runs through the whole course of the Party’s struggle in revolution,construction and reform.Especially since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee has attached great importance to discipline construction,and the party’s discipline construction has become an important research content in today’s era.The party’s 20 th report calls for “adhering to the strict tone and strengthening discipline”,which not only reflects the CPC,but also points out the tone and direction of its work for advancing the great new project of Party building in the new era.The paper first defines the related concepts of the discipline construction of the Communist Party of China.Define discipline,party discipline,party discipline construction,and clarify the differences and connections between party discipline and party rules,and firmly grasp their own research objects from the logical starting point of research.On this basis,the theoretical basis,basic content,promotion path,main characteristics,main achievements and basic experience of the party ’s discipline construction in the new era are systematically studied.First,it explains the theoretical basis of the party ’s discipline construction from three aspects :Marxist classical writers,successive collective leadership of the Communist Party of China and Chinese excellent traditional culture,traces the source of theoretical thoughts,and consolidates the theoretical foundation of research.At the same time,practice is also the source of innovative theory.Through combing and analyzing the history of the party ’s discipline construction,we can draw historical experience from it.Secondly,it summarizes the basic content of the party ’s discipline construction since the 18 th National Congress.In the form of the Party Constitution,the six major disciplines of the Party have been clarified,various thematic education has been carried out successively to enhance the awareness of discipline,constantly formulate and improve the discipline laws and regulations within the Party,and strengthen the implementation of discipline and accountability.And clarified the importance of the party ’s discipline construction.It is not only an inevitable requirement for comprehensively and strictly governing the party,but also an important means to solve the problems existing in the party.It is also an important guarantee for completing the new mission of the new era.Thirdly,it puts forward the path of promoting the discipline construction of the Communist Party of China.The " Eight Regulations " of the Central Committee opened the prelude to discipline construction and promoted the normalization of discipline education.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China raised the discipline construction to an unprecedented important position to further promote the institutionalization of discipline construction,and fully implement the reform of the national supervision system.The fourth is to put forward the working principles of the party ’s discipline construction.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the party ’s discipline construction work has distinct characteristics of the times,that is,always adhering to the party ’s leadership,focusing on top-level design,and adhering to the unity of high standards and bottom lines.These characteristics are the working principles of the party ’s discipline construction.Fifth,it summarizes the main achievements and basic experience of the party ’s discipline construction.The achievements of the party ’s discipline construction since the 18 th National Congress are summarized into four ’ new ’,namely : new promotion,new breakthrough,new framework and new pattern.It also summarizes the basic experience of the party ’s achievements in discipline construction from six aspects : work policy,work purpose,discipline education,discipline formulation,discipline implementation and discipline supervision.
