The Study On Young Engels Getting Rid Of Religious Belief And Its Realistic Enlightenment

Marxism,as a scientific belief on the liberation of human beings and the free and all-round development of human personality,is different from the traditional belief in religious form.To strengthen the belief in Marxism of contemporary college students is not only the practical need to solve the predicament of college students’ belief and alleviate the ideological crisis,but also the important guarantee to cultivate new forces and maintain the national ideological and political stability.Therefore,it is very important and necessary to pay attention to the present situation of college students’ belief and strengthen the education of college students’ ideal and belief.Classic Marxist writers not only provide the nourishment of scientific knowledge,but more importantly,their noble pursuit of value endows us with the spiritual power of continuous progress.In particular,the exploration and pursuit of scientific belief by classical writers in their youth has profound enlightenment on the contemporary college students’ ideal and belief education.The letters of Marx and Engels in their youth carry the process of pursuing truth.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the enlightenment of ideal and belief education from the life experience recorded in classical writers’ letters.This paper is divided into four chapters:the first chapter analyzes the material basis,class practice basis and social ideological trend of young Engels’ breaking away from religious belief,and grasps the realistic condition of young Engels’ breaking away from religious belief from the macroscopic view;the second chapter discusses the various factors that urge young Engels to reflect on and examine his own religious belief,in order to find out the main factors that affect the choice and establishment of individual religious belief;the third chapter examines the communication between young Engels and Grape brothers from 1838 to 1841 to try to analyze the spiritual course of young Engels’ breaking away from religious belief.Through the analysis of his letters,it can be roughly divided into three stages:from mysticism to supernaturalism to rationalism,and finally from the shackles of religious belief.It is not a one-way process for young Engels to get rid of his religious beliefs,among which there are hesitation,twists and turns,and even more setbacks.Therefore,it is not easy for us to change our belief.In the fourth chapter,from the three dimensions of theory,reality and value,we can deeply understand the scientific method and exploration spirit of young Engels.
