| National image is not only an important symbol of a country’s cultural soft power and international influence but also an effective way for a country to improve its international voice and conduct global governance more effectively in the era of economic globalization.On the one hand,the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.One the other hand,the report of the19 th CPC national congress pointed out that China will continue to play its role as a responsible major country,take an active part in the reform and development of the global governance system,and contribute its wisdom and strength to the world in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In 2018,it was written into the Constitution that "developing diplomatic relations with countries and economic and cultural exchanges,and promoting the building of a community of human destiny".In the wave of globalization,the realization of domestic development is inseparable from the development of all mankind,and the Chinese dream is more in common with the dreams of people all over the world.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to build the image of a responsible major country in the new era.First of all,we need to clarify the specific connotation of "responsibility" for constructing the image of a responsible power in the new era,and this article defines China’s responsibility from four aspects: peaceful development,common development,safeguarding international fairness and justice,and contributing to mankind,in accordance with Comrade Xi Jinping’s relevant speeches.The Communist Party of China strives not only for the well-being of the Chinese people,but also for the progressive cause of all mankind,which is the responsibility of the Communist Party of China.At the same time,it puts forward specific ways to construct the image of a responsible country in the new era,such as building a balanced and stable international relationship,building global governance through the "The Belt and Road" initiative,and improving the external transmission mode of China’s image,in light of the relevant data in the global survey report of China’s national image. |
