| The township government is the most basic part of the hierarchical structure of our government.Township cadres are the core members of the township government, and the majority of township female cadres have made great contributions to the development and construction of our rural areas. The job satisfaction of township female cadres will directly determine the administrative efficiency and policy implementation quality of their units, and then affect the overall rural construction development speed and the construction level of service-oriented government in China.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of demand theory, this paper analyzes and summarizes the main problems and causes of low satisfaction of rural female cadres at different levels of demand, using the method of typical research and comprehensive research, based on the field survey of W County,Cangzhou City,Hebei Province,And then put forward a series of targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of working conditions and environment and career development of rural female cadres in China.Through a lot of research, this paper draws the following conclusions:First of all, this study found that through the combination of questionnaires and interviews. The township female cadres in the region are generally at a "relatively satisfactory" level. From a positive perspective, women cadres in villages and towns have high overall self requirements, low profile and modesty in their work, and are more restrained in dealing with people. The complexity of women’s thinking makes them rigorous and thoughtful. However, from an unfavorable point of view, despite the huge personal strength and development potential of many township female cadres, many people have not been given full development opportunities and growth space.Secondly, according to the level by level analysis of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,it is found that the relatively simple workplace and short rest time in the continuous work process are an important reason for the low satisfaction of physiological needs, while some township female cadres are dissatisfied with their physiological needs and safety needs due to their long journey to work and their far family living places.Compared with the income level, women cadres in villages and towns are generally less satisfied with teaching and training resources, salary and promotion system, and many interviewees believe that women’s growth and development in the workplace are mainly limited by traditional gender bias.In addition, family is an important influencing factor outside the workplace. The social needs and respect satisfaction of married women mainly depend on the husband’s support for their own work. However, the exertion of their potential and creativity and the feeling of making great contributions to work are the main manifestations of the low satisfaction of the realization of female cadres’ self-worth.In general, the satisfaction of township female cadres is closely related to their own physiological and psychological factors.Women’s children and family roles have a significant impact on their job satisfaction. Finally, this study puts forward a series of targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of the working conditions and environment of rural female cadres and their career development from three aspects:social concepts, government management and self promotion of rural female cadres. From the perspective of social concept,we should get rid of the old social concept of son preference and establish an advanced gender culture. From the perspective of government management,we should create a working environment that is suitable for women’s psychological and physiological needs, promote the balance between work and family relations, encourage the growth of outstanding township female cadres, and strengthen the participation of female cadres in management decisions. From the perspective of self-improvement of rural female cadres, actively establish the concept of self-development,carry out self-study and management, and relieve their psychological pressure. |
