Research On The Optimization Of Home-based Care Service Supply Based On The Perspective Of Demand In Nanjing

Nanjing,as one of the provincial capital city with the highest economic strength and medical level in China,is ahead of similar regions in terms of the speed and scale of population aging.It is very important to properly solve the problem of old-age care for the elderly.Under the strategic background of actively coping with aging,Nanjing has gradually established a relatively complete home-based elderly care service system,which has been in a leading state nationwide.Even so,with the increasingly diversified needs of the elderly,there are still filled with many challenges of the existing home-based care service supply system in Nanjing.Against such a realistic backdrop,this study is based on the analysis of the current situation of home-based elderly care service supply in Nanjing,combines with the differences in the needs of the elderly,analyzes the problems existing in the supply of home-based care services in Nanjing,and proposes some suggestions for supply optimization.This study firstly sorts out the relevant literature in the fields of home-based care in detail,takes the hierarchy of needs theory,meta-governance theory,welfare pluralism theory and supply and demand adaptation theory as the theoretical bases,conducts an analysis of the supply and demand of home-based care services in Nanjing with the methods of questionnaires,interviews and statistical analysis.The research concludes that: in terms of supply,Nanjing City,together with the government,home-based care service institutions,market and charitable organizations,volunteers and other main bodies,provides home-based care services for the elderly and their families with door-to-door services and community services as the main content.Establishing a supply operation mechanism of "demand acquisition→decision formation→supply coordination→supervision and evaluation".In terms of demand,the living care needs,medical care needs,spiritual comfort needs and social interaction needs of the elderly show some obvious differences in the aspects of individual characteristics in Nanjing.On the basis of the aforementioned analysis,this study combines the satisfaction evaluation and interview data,points out that there are problems such as lack of supply effectiveness,vague demand identification,and poor adaptation of supply and demand.And the causes of the problems are reflected in the offside of government management,insufficient market participation,lack of benign interaction between the government and the market,limited role of institutions,weak subject consciousness.In view of the above conclusions,this study puts forward five suggestions:(1)scientifically locate the role of the government;(2)fully stimulate market vitality;(3)efficiently promote the benign interaction between the government and market;(4)actively play the supplementary role of non-profit organizations;(5)effectively improve the elderly and their family participation awareness.
